Most games care enough to do this at 3 am bst when very few people play, like it used to be.

ESO doesn't even fix bugs so... just stop spending money, they will either care or shut down. Have a spine, give a *** and stop letting them humiliate you by making you pay for subpar software.

Yas need to quit complaining when maintenance is on i go to the gym and work out and take care of real life stuff.

If they changed it to night time all would hear on the forums is, "Oh mah gurd change the maintenance times its cutting in to my play time as i work through the day".

btw im in england so the time zone effects me as well just sayin.

No. The reason they do it at this hour is because that is when they take the NA server down. And the hour has been chosen based on what suits the NA server best; so when there's least players online or trying to log in.

They should by all means seperate the two maintenances again so they are both done during the night (03:00-08.00 or somewhere around those lines) on both megaservers.

Sure it's better to take it down during noon than during the evening, but it is even better to take it down during the night. Currently it is being taken down in NA during the night and EU during the noon because they accomodate the NA player base and not the EU one.

Imagine if they took it down during EU night time, which would be NA prime time; that is basically what happens here; maintenance times only catered towards the NA community.

They used to seperate them, now they don't anymore.

It's a step in the wrong direction and will, as I mentioned earlier, polarize the player base, along with everything else they are doing at the moment that only caters to, and favorizes, the NA player base.

I am not expecting it to change it all because after all they are an American company and I expect nothing more from anything coming out of America, and with almost every other American MMO it's the same story, but it is still an issue, and not one you can just tell people to "live with" (not aimed at you specifically but everyone in this thread trying to justify it).

People who are frustrated with this has every right and reason to be, eventhough I personally don't think anything will change.

ZOS already made it VERY clear that they deem the NA players more important.

11am is when most people in the EU is either working or at school, your blowing this way out of proportion.

it's not a big deal that ZOS is catering for the MAJORITY of the EU population who are as i said working or at school at that time, not the MINORITY that choose to stay at home and play video games at that time.

There's even less people playing between 03.00 and 08.00.
This is not about polarizing people between who works and who doesn't but about ZOS providing the same level of customer service as they do on the NA server.
Stop making it into something else.
If you feel like hating on people who don't have a job go somewhere else.

Starting immediately, we have changed the regular maintenance times for European megaserver once more, based on player feedback. The initial post has been updated.

Not new by a long shot, i just dont believe in complaining about everything. It does no good and just brings you down. Maintenance is a great time to go outside and see that there is a real world out there!! ......lol

As I have been playing all night, and just realised that Mondays are maintenance days...
I would actually prefer when maintenance arrives, we get an estimated timeframe for when we can play again. Instead of having to check every hour or so.

I am also from Denmark and I disagree. Giving NA good maintenance times and giving EU bad ones is favouritizing one part of the community over the other - which they already do a lot when it comes to information on downtimes on NA, promoting NA streamers, improving performance a lot better on NA etc.

It polarizes the players and gives us an idea of NA players being more important than EU players.

There will always be more people wanting to play between 10.00 and 15.00 than 03.00 and 08.00.

The current maintenance hours don't really affect me but that does not mean this isn't an issue worth adressing. This is about so much more than just the maintence times.

I honestly don't expect ZOS to improve on this since it's an American game company and no American game conpany has ever accomodated their EU playerbase as much as their NA one when it comes to MMOs.

And it is pretty much common knowledge that because US is so used to everything being about the US in their lives, that is just how things are. Both in politics, economics, every day life and how you run your business.

Maintenance has to be done at some point to keep the server running, ZOS always gives notice of upcoming maintenance times for the week ahead at the top of the forum.
