Siege Weapon Bug - Does this happen to anyone else?

This happens randomly. When I place a siege weapon, it doesn't allow me to use it. Its usage then degrades rapidly and falls apart. This has happened with both Ballistaes and Trebuchets. These can be brand new and even happen multiple times in a row. The siege weapon in this video I had just bought.

Is this a known bug or am I the only one?

You're definitely not the only one but I'm not sure if ZOS is working on a fix for it or it's one of those things that slipped under their radar.

That feel when you are forced to watch a Cold Fire Ballista rapidly degrade before your eyes. ;_;

That as well as the bug where you dont get a targeting line, at least you can alt off and on a bumch of times to get that back.

This does suck for those who use siege a lot

Pretty sure this happens if you're moving and you try to place a siege. Happens way more often if you have the auto ground ability setting on.

This happens whenever you place the siege and move before you're done placing it. Just make sure to stand still to avoid the bug. Pretty annoying imo but they seem to be working on it.

Strange, well it's good to hear that I'm not the only one.

Has this issue been addressed? I've wasted so many AP on "faulty siege weapons". I hope the Siege Merchants who sell them to us will give us a refund for their faulty equipment
