Will we ever get more taunting skills? The two we have are good, but more options are always good. Cleave would be a good candidate. Maybe something in the Fighters Guild? The Morph Evil Hunter could use a boost, a non-damaging aoe taunt? Really anything would help. Thoughts?

    It would be nice to have a ranged taunt that is not part of the Undaunted skill line.

    I wouldn't hold your breath. The game isn't designed with aoe taunts in mind, so you're not likely to get that. The two taunts that exist fill any niche you would need with a single target taunt. Pierce Armor covers melee as well as giving both major defense debuffs (does anyone actually use the other morph?). Inner Fire covers ranged and magicka taunting, having a convenient stamina morph for stamtanks.

    I would be happy if they just boosted the damage and made the synergy do an aoe taunt....

    I'm really wanting an aoe taunt lol.

    I wouldn't mind if one of the morphs for certain class skills to become a taunt; something within the first couple of spells. These are the ones I can think of being the best candidate for that role:

    Dragon Knight - Stonefist > Stone Giant
    Nightblade - Agony > Prolonged Suffering
    Sorcerer - Daedric Curse > Velocious Curse
    Templar - Sun Fire > Vampire's Bane

    Off topic but sort of always wanted the other morph to drop the taunt and boost the damage for folks who like sword and board but not to tank.

    Why's that?

    It only takes 3-4 dungeons to get to it and what do you need taunt for if not dungeons?

    I just want an AoE Taunt... Some may consider it not necessary but I'd love to have one.

    I would think an AOE taunt would take some of the skill out of grabbing and holding a groups attention.

    I love not being able to see my tank when he is surrounded by all the enemy he has pulled in while the DD's pick away at them - makes me feel like I have achieved something :)

    Sometimes there are too many enemies to keep up with though to Taunt 1 by 1. Even if the AoE Taunt was an Ultimate I'd be happy lol

    I'd also settle for a means to increase your own aggro level drastically to make enemies tend to prioritize you.

    New taunts that provide different effect may be cool.

    This commemoration is for the class that has constantly been plundered and dismantled by designers for no obvious reason while other classes continue to have coherent skill lines and feel both powerful and cool.

    Again off topic, but I would think having armor ranking tie into arggo levels I think would help.

    crying for an aoe taunt is a l2p issue in my opinion (for the whole group, not only the tank).
    as a tank just grab the hard hitters and leave the rest for the damage dealers. decent dds should be able to cope with one or two (or even more) mobs on their heels..
    an aoe taunt would make already easy content even easier, so no thanks.

    Yes but when any other class then DK tanks they cant hold the enemys as good sadly.
    Dragonknights got talons and inhale other classes dont

    No to aoe taunts.It will make dungeons more easy than they already are.A well experienced tank will know how boring the role will become with aoe taunts.Will also make it boring for DDs as they dont have to worry about mobs,specially melee mobs,attacking them.In other words there will be less risk of dying wich means less adrenaline pumping into your system which means boring.You wont see the heroic NB dps teleporting all around the battlefield murdering the mobs trying to kill the healer ect ect.CC skills like Talons wont have much meaning in pve as a AOE taunt will basically do the same,locking all mobs into 1 place,that place being where tank is standing.And all that without mentioning all the changes devs will have to do,like for example, decreasing block cost so the tank dont run out of stam quick because of that many mobs hitting the tank.

    With training you can already taunt many mobs of a trash grp if not all.And is a hell of fun doing it.Its what I call the taunting dance lol.Consist on quickly aiming at each mobs individually and taunting them.It can be tricky as some already taunted mobs will get on the way when trying to taunt another mob.But when you manage to do it you just take some steps back and let your group mates see how,you,without aoe taunts managed to get all mobs on you and you will get a " you are a awesome tank" Or you can just spam Talons in the middle of the mob grp until dps burn them all and not even use a single taunt,but thats another story,here we are talking about taunts.

    Aoe taunts has been requested a few times since the game released and thankfully many players has gone against it,and thankfully,so far,ZOS has ignored the request.

    About more taunts with different effects,not needed but yeah,why not? it will make it more fun as long as it only taunt 1 mob.
