Request to bring back Perma Mage Light Visual Effects!

A while ago when Inner Light / Mage Light etc Mage Guild skills got changed the visual effects changed from being permanent whenever you equip the skill on your bar to only on your character when you click on the skill for a few seconds.....

Can we pretty please have it back to the way it was visually? I and others miss the blue effects on our characters arms and eyes :(

Don't have to change the skill just give us back the option to have the effects turned on all the time :(

    There is much more reasons why now it's not perma. Previously skill was toggled and You neded to put in on Your bar and turn it on to have max magicka bonus. Now it gives max magicka bonus passivly when on bar and sctivating the skill turns on effect which isnt just visual. That light gives You detection of hidden/cloaked targets by few seconds so it's visual short buff effect same like any other skills have that gives buffs to You. Previously that light was meaning You have max magicka bonus turned on.

    It would defeat the entire purpose, which is to let you know when it was active.

    Just for aesthetics, I rather liked having a mini-star orbiting my characters.

    I understand why they changed it, but I really liked the aesthetic effect of it... :(

    I don't like toggles: my back bar with buffs doesn't need spell crit, but 1 extra useful skill

    just use the worm cult set to get a similar effect (blue orbiting balls).

    Or wear worm cult , ebon , turn on magelight and flames of oblivion. Christmass tree ready.

    Just the subtle blue flames in hands. Let the light orb hidden until we cast like before.

    I usually don't care much for visual effects, but I feel naked without it.
    I am the very model of a scientist Salarian, I've studied species Turian, Asari, and Batarian.
    I'm quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology) because I am an expert (which I know is a tautology).
    My xenoscience studies range from urban to agrarian, I am the very model of a Scientist Salarian.

    I like the spell the way it is now, BUT...

    I would also like the option to turn this visual on and off, much like a helmet can be shown or not shown or a costume worn or not worn as desired.

    Kinda miss seeing it too but it's nothing important, still wouldn't mind if it was an option... though I'm sitting here thinking about a bunch of ideas and suggestions that I have to sweep under the rug due to console's performance being terrible, and wanting that to be fixed more than anything...

    Its great now, now you see when empower is active or not, keeps you sharp in combat and it detected hiden players. Besides if the skill is in your active bar its active...so why a silly floating orb all the time....

    Prefer to have a toggle option for effects, so those that want it can still show it.

    They can keep it the same for pvp....

    No, i need to know when my magelight is up, and when the enemies magelight is up. Is key for stealthed gameplay.

    So then make it a pvp toggle thing, or give us the option to turn it on and off when we like in pve, but keep it the same in pvp?

    I'm sure there is. That's why this thread is so popular? You let it die for almost 2 months then bump it back.

    Discussion is over, skill is changed, I doubt it'll ever become an option
