Howdy, I'm interested in getting the sheer venom set and thinking about the easiest way to do this. I was thinking that just farming the 1st boss would work since I believe that it drops shackles, a chance to drop item sets and is the easiest for a random group to do. I would just like to make sure that the first boss does drop the shackles & has a chance to drop sets on vet mode, thanks for the help.

CasNation✭✭✭✭✭Each boss only drops certain pieces, so you will need to hit every boss multiple times. Just farming the first boss won't work.
As recommended already, just rush through trash pulls, die, and then keep running while dead. Rinse, repeat. Do this in between every boss and only kill the bosses.PC NA AD

You don't even need to die. There are certain spots where the trash will reset. (e.g. when you jump in the hole before the atronarch with all those rats, the trash from before can't follow you)Each boss only drops certain pieces, so you will need to hit every boss multiple times. ✭✭✭✭✭I wouldn't farm any 4 man content right now. I would wait until they introduce Bind on Group next patch. You can have all my sheer Venom stuff at that time. Haha.
Also, join a decent guild and just run the place. I personally hate the repair and soul gem bill associated with the die and run strats. They might be a hair faster, but it drives my insane. We tried that a few times in VWGT back in the day. It maybe saved 5 minutes a run. The trash has been nerfed so hard that I bet it's even less now.2 -

I completely agree! I've always hated having raid groups in MMOs try and skip the trash only to have something aggro and wipe a group. It literally takes a few seconds to blow up a group of trash.0
