I really wish that you guys would stop listening to the vocal minority that whine about everything.

With the new changes Redguards still get 3 useful buffs that work well in PVP and PVE while Khajiit get 1.

Crit bonus is nigh useless in PVP as everyone stacks impen now.

Stealth bonus is useless in dungeons and trials.

Health regen on a "stam damage" race... LOL?!?

Really, really disappointed in this flip-flop.

    It's PTS - they should be allowed to test any idea. This is why there's test servers in the first place.

    I'm glad they take chances and try out things, if it doesn't work don't go for it. That's how it should be.

    You can only please some people some of the time.

    They could remove racial bonuses entirely and people would complain that now race is just cosmetic. Whatever they do, someone will be mad.

    Oh I feel the same. The extra 7% stam was fine though. They didn't remove it because it didn't work, they removed it because people whined on the forums.

    Redguard are still the undisputed king of stamina for PVP AND PVE. 10% stamina, 9% stam regen, and more regen from a slightly nerfed adrenaline rush.

    ZOS said on ESO Live that Khajiit was supposed to be the "damage stamina" race and Redguard the "sustain stamina race."

    What good is healing regen to a stamina dps race?

    Why is 7% more stamina too much when their only useful stat (8% crit) is useless in PVP?

    Why not call them the "unsustainable PVE burst" race? XD

    Khajiit was looking forward to getting a bit more Stamina love. Instead apparently having slightly more health regen is considered a boon to this one. Not sure how it came about but this one thinks that the Shorty Elves got the best deal this time around. :cry:

    Wait they removed the max stam from Khajiit?

    The *** is this ***, health regen is useless for every aspect of the game.

    I think this is an example of how one "edgy" comment on the forum can totally sway development.

    Someone posts "cash shop race change then hello kitty" and the whole forum loses it's mind! XD

    I mean yeah it was funny, but the knee-jerk reversal is just not necessary.

    Nobody seriously thought an extra 7% resources to a race with no resource bonus was somehow a push to milk the cash shop race change.

    Becuase khajit is already the best race on live for Stam. Most damage. Stealth bonus is quite useful already in PvP. The stamina would have made them far FAR to OP. It would have beem silly to choose any single other race ever for stamina. It almost already is on live. Sorry but Khajit is the best as is already, that 8% crit is HUGE in PvE and the stealth is useful in PvP so is the crit for heals and non impen players.

    I thought this thread was about a new costume with bathing trunks and a pair of Flip-flops. I agree, this would look horrible, and everyone knows that any self-respecting Khajiit prefers his paws on warm sands without footwear.

    The return to how it was before is a good one - Khajiit had enough stamina based advantages already and the lack of health regen would have made the race into primarily being DD and glass cannons - I like that it was reverted, makes Khajiit more balanced than to force them into a certain role.

    Is it just "slightly" nerfed with the cooldown being extended by two thirds? Not a sarcastic question...I don't know so I'm asking those that do.

    I think this statement is really blown out of proportion here. Just because 7 impen can mitigate 26% critical damage does not mean this passive is useless, nor critical damage for that matter.

    On my nightblade, i have about a 1.87x crit damage multiplier (once you total cp/mundus/etc). Most players in pvp will have CP 60/60 split physical/magic damage mitigation and the rest into crit resist, which is about 15% since we have CP cap's. So without the transmutation set your looking at mitigating only 41% of my critical damage. Does 45% extra damage for critical hit's mean nothing to you?

    Yes you could make the argument that you cannot critically hit shields but once those shields are down you have a very good chance to land a critical hit if you are a Khajiit. I can assure you i'd rather critically hit then not critically hit when that occurs.

    I just wouldn't under value critical chance as much as you are. Sure its not effective in every situation but not everyone runs 7 impen as well. Not everyone is using the transmutation set. Not everyone is stacking the same into CP. So you shouldn't go around claiming something is abysmal and useless so easily.

    I for one think the critical chance passive Khajjits have is very good for pvp and has its place and uses.




    A little off topic here below.

    Does a critical resistance cap exist? Every where i search online states that 3200 is the cap but on other sites i search they only state that 3200 is how you mitigate 100% of someones base critical damage modifier (1.5x). No where i look states that there is a true cap for critical resistance. You can build way more then 50% critical resistance and damage so i don't personally understand why a cap for critical resistance is necessary to start with.

    If someone could show me a link to the comment on Zos's end stating there is a critical resistance cap, i'd appreciate it.

    Revert to Khajit AND nerf to Redguard, wow spoon feeding the whines again I see. Suprised the Templar hasn't been ruined, again, because of the whining PvP folks getting Jesus beamed..

    No.

    Redguard is second to Khajit in PVE dps, the Khajit change would push Khajit considerable higher in PVE and make them much more comparable in PVP.

    This is still completely ignoring Bosmer and Imperial races. Redguard do have the best all around stamina bonus' but they do not put out the highest stamina dps in PVE. Bosmer and Imperial both fall behind Redguard and Khajit in PVE DPS, Bosmer's only advantage over Khajit is in PVP for sustain.

    8% crit is not useless in PVP simply reduced in effectiveness.

    No, not everyone stacks impen in PVP. I PVP all the time, and I guarantee you that 90% of all players you find in Cyrodiil don't have a single piece of impen on.

    Of course, now that we have Transmutation set, everyone near a healer gets a free full set of impen from this bonus. But they still aren't actually wearing impen gear.

    khajit are already a broken race with passives, with the change they would just be selling race changes coming out soon. Right now to balance the races khajit need to be brought down to everyones level not boosted so high they make every race 100% obsolete, which arguably they already have

    This is wrong, though, it's common knowledge that, as is on live, khajiit is better for PVE and Redguard is better for PVP. See it this way: khajiit racials remain unchanged, Redguard got nerfed.

    If Khajiit really got that Stam bonus, it would hands down make them the best Stam DPS race there is: Regen, Stamina and Crit. Glad to see they reverted it to allow more variety in Stam races
