I am playing Elder Scroll since Morrowind @ 2003.. and found ESO very good except it have some performance issues (which will be addressed soon), game is further improving day by day as any other MMO..
PVP is fun except some performance issues are bad,
I still love this game and prefer over many others..
I am on PS4, have purchased it on PC as well but PS4 is winner for me..

Will it be addressed soon? Good to know. I havent seen any response from ZOS telling us that they are fixing the vast amount of performance issues on PS4 soon. From what i've read om the forum they barely acknowledge the current state of performance...
This is too funny. You seem to be pretty new to the MMORPG world and maybe that isn't for you.
That's part of my point. If a game like DCUO can get an LFG to function while having a functioning chat system, how is ESO so far behind?Did he just compare DC universe to eso the disrespect! DCU is a terrible game

They rarely talk on forum indeed but it doesn't mean they don't acknowledge issues and work on them. I direct you to the patch notes section to get an idea of the amount of issues they fix.
It works incredibly well for me now. matching me quickly and efficiently even when queing with others.
- Improved the speed at which the Activity Finder can analyze and match players.
- Fixed an issue that would occur if you joined the Activity Finder with a group of three and one player left, resulting in the queue not replacing that player.

I'm sure they acknowledge issues internally, and I know they fix bugs and glitches. But I'm talking about the current state of performance on ps4. It's been a month now, where the game at times is unplayable, and their response have only been that they are aware of some players having issues. They even asked said players to write specific times and zones down where the lag/fps drops/loading screens/invisible mobs etc are happening, illustration just how unaware they are of the problems as these issues are happening to everyone, everywhere.

That's how you troubleshoot periodical errors. It doesn't mean they are unaware.

I'm loving the game play, the crafting, the classes, and the levelling system. Well, that may be a stretch for the levelling system.
But the buggy LFG, the lack of a real chat system has really come short of what even DC Universe Online (a F2P game no less) has managed to accomplish.
I regret buying the game, and I regret paying for 2 months of subscription time.

The social aspects, namely anything where more than one player has to interact, is pretty bad. I like voice chat over text chat on console, but no one uses it anymore, so there is basically no communication with anyone. Group ANYTHING is crippled, and that includes both looking-for-group and guild traders.
I like guild traders over auction house, but on console, it is like the whole thing was designed by Vault-Tec as some sort of experiment.
When text chat comes out next month, we will see what happens. I expect that it will become the default trading venue since it will be easier to ask in "zone chat" whether someone has something to sell than try to find it using the guild trader UI.
I'm sure you are right if all you do is pugs. But if you find yourself a good guild with nice people the social aspects of the game on PS4 is pretty good. I know that its what is keeping some players in the game while they wait for zos to fix the current issues.

The social communication challenges on the console make it hard to find a guild. It is bad on PC/Mac, terrible on PS4.
I have been in guilds on the PS4 and all of them are dead now. I can't name them, for obvious reasons. It is basically required to sift through the forum to find a guild. People are still requesting access in the forum to these dead guilds.
Both PC/Mac and console need a Looking For Guild tool that is smart enough to filter out guilds where the guild master is missing, presumed dead.
Text chat will help with finding guilds on console. We will see how well that works.

Just adding for balance to all those who say no-one can play on PS4 at the moment.
