It seems to cost a lot more than it states?
For example,
Clanfear cost - 2594
Matriach cost - 2594
Hardened ward cost - 2527
If I spam cast these abilities I can cast (x) till my Magicka is empty
Clanfear - 9!?
Matriach - 19 casts
Hardened ward - 28 casts

Ok there's the video, as you can see it only lets me cast this 8 times before 'being out of Magicka' although the spell costs 2594 and I have 6.8k left? I then even let my Magicka restore to 11.5k and cast again, being left with 3.9k Magicka. So that last cast just cost me what, over 7k Magicka?

I do the same thing with the Matriach and the ability cost is the same, and I can cast this 19 times before running out.

The difference in hardened vs matriarch is 67 magicka, there is no way you should be able to hardened ward 9 times more than matriarch with a total of only 600ish magicka cost...
Quick question: what level is your character? And are you in a PvP zone?0 -

He's max level, and yeah I was in a PvP zone while trying that out, but yeah this makes zero sense to me.
I was hoping to use the clanfear in my build as it would've worked great, but I noticed my Magicka would get very low very quickly and couldn't understand why, so I tested it and now I'm even more confused.
The hardend ward may be correct, it has a longer animation so I guess I'd be regenerating more magicka while doing it?

That could be the case, but I've never seen it mentioned, and surely that should be stated in the tooltip? And cause the Matriach can heal more than 1 person, you'd figure that one would be more expensive? But that's not the case.

Actually you maybe onto something. Maybe the Clannfear ability isn't effected by CP cost reduction? Like casting him has the reduction and then no reduction to use?
If I had access I would check out Clannfear's cost without any reduction and compare that to the ability cost0 -

Could be quite possible, I'll test when I can get on later if someone hasn't already. Seems odd that the clannfear wouldn't be effected but the Matriach would though, unless it's unintended.0 -

Yeah there's something up, it didn't always cost the same amount every cast either, the last cast I done cost me over 7k, it's ridiculous.

I'd report it as expected and leave it alone. Otherwise I would expect to hear about someone complaining that their...um Car has a Wheel "Booted" for 72 hours. Yeah booted...sigh. At times the forums can be a double edged sword even while you are just meaning well.
