My real name is Jonas.. I was mentioned to have had an unfortunate fate at the hand of the dark brotherhood:( my character Sitkas is a part of that degenerate organisation... needless to say we don't get along too good after that.

I've never seen my IRL name in game, and I don't expect to honestly. However, a good number of quest givers call you "wayfarer," I always like that

Bit different than what OP is referring to but I have a friend whose main is called "Orduoth" who we all pronounced "Ordooth" until he pointed out that it's actually pronounced "Or-dew-oth", hence why it's "Orduoth".
Needless to say we continued to call him Ordooth.

So one day we were questing in Craglorn and doing this dungeon, we'd gotten through most of it and there was a door with a treasure chest right by it. Someone opened the chest so they got to loot it and head through the door before the rest of us.
Upon going through the door he starts laughing. One by one the rest of us go through the door after getting the chest and sure enough one by one we start laughing like idiots.
There standing for all to see was a boss called "Ordooth the Corrupted".

Dungeon took twice as long as it should of because we were incapable of playing while laughing.

Yeah, I was on a character named Akaviri Battlereeve and I started the quest were you have to pray from the dead dunmer around Vicec's Antlers next to Ebonheart and one of those I prayed for yelled out " Die Akaviri! Die! " I was just like

One of my own characters is called "Dave the Sorcerer" ... & I have seen Dave the Warlock, Dave the Tank & Magic Dave (on the PTS). I'm sure I've seen a few other Daves but have forgotten the details.

I have a DC character named after Angier Stower, the NPC banker in Daggerfall. One time, while I was putzing around In zone chat, I came across another player with a similar name. It snowballed until we ended up with four of us (with the same name or variations of it) partying around in the bank –and it was glorious.

I recently saw a character called "Khenarthi le Chat" during a dolmen in Alik'r... I had to /bow and /wave at him (I can't type French well enough to salute the player in writing, thank goodness for emotes)

My real life name wouldn't fit the game's lore for any of the races.

As for character names the only NPC that was kind of close is a Redguard NPC in Sentinel called "Toubeh", when my Redguard's name is "Taybeh" - I did a double-take the first time I passed her.

No, I have never seen my actual gov't name in ESO before (which is a good thing?). But, I've seen my handle plenty of times. Anytime someone or something is referred to as "champion", my name is mentioned.

Not in ESO but I did in another MMO. A Jedi named Sean Wolf ran out of a temple and I caught up with him and asked him if that was his name, he replied with a 'no', that he picked it because 'it sounded cool'. I thanked him for complimenting my name and we went about our separate ways.

Not in ESO. I've got a stupidly common name, but it doesn't show up in ESO at all. The closest I've seen was a feminine derivation of it on a Breton in Skyrim.

I read that as Angrier Stower... Someone needs to roll them up, wander into Daggerfall, and start yelling Shakespeare at the passers by.

Though, seriously, because of how I name characters, I usually know exactly where to go to find NPCs with the same name or surname.
