Why are redguards recovery being nerfed? Was fine how it was!

Currently as it is planned, redguards will have their adrenaline passive nerfed from three seconds to five. Redguards are one of the best stamina races of the game and are the go to race for those that want to have great recovery in melee stamina fights. Currently of all the races that got reworked, most got mainly a significant buff but redguard got the nerf bat. Redguards are known in lore as being very great swordmen and now you are telling me that for two years I was great at recovering stamina and now my character will have to wait another 2 seconds to catch their breath? I feel like this is fixing a problem that doesn't exist as while all these races got significant buffs and redguards, one races for stamina builds got nerfed while still for example, the overall best magika race for magika builds altmer is unchanged? While I am not advocating for altmers to be nerfed and don't want them to be touched by the devs, we redguards enjoyed our stamina recovery and being one of the best races for stamina and nerfing us to encourage race changes to other stamina races feels bery selfish and a money grab. I feel as if though they took a safe route on not nerfing altmer as the outcry would be horrible in the forums and so they took the safer route of a fast cash and decided to change redguards. As a faithful redguard I will remain one and refuse to fall into your cash grab of the wave of racial changes incoming. You can hide it under the guise of balance but this redguard was happy with his stamina recovery and is displeased with this change to something that wasn't broken.

    Its the bitching on the forums combined with greed. They rolled back the Khajiit buff which was intended to push people to buy race change tokens. This happened due to the outcry on the forums. So to achieve the same result in token sales they decided to nerf the other good stam race a lot of people are playing. This way Khajiit will still become the hands down better choice for stam dps and many people will feel the need to switch races.

    I don't see it as a nerf. If your stamina recovery is high enough (which it should be by the time you unlock the full passive), you'll appreciate the bonus stamina being spaced out more so you receive it when your overall stamina is actually getting lower. When 600 extra stamina might actually make a difference instead of pushing you from 95% to 100%.

    but the difference in the ticks from those rushes is that you would get that extra stamina back twice in 6 seconds, while only once 5 seconds which leaves less room for being greedy with your abilities

    As always, your posts are very deep — but filled with truth. I agree with you 100%, and honestly? I truly believe that don't know what they're doing in regards of class balance. And are just doing enough to get by, and please whichever group of people complain the most. Except for Nightblades... He refuses to "balance" Nightblades, even though he claims adjustments are based on class usage and statistics. Lmao. :D

    What on earth does greedy with your abilities even mean?

    Being able to use abilities more often without fear of being starved of resources.

    Well yeah I guess but I automatically go for Breton because of very high max magicka.

    Yea, i tend to choose it as well but that isa matter of aestetics for me. Altmer and dunmer are better dk and altmer is best sorc. They also trade off depening on what you want more of regen or cost

    No it doesnt. They didnt buff weaker races and nerf strong ones to make them comparable. They left weak stam races weak, they left 1 strong race as it was (Khajiit) and significantly nerfed the other strong stam race (Redguards). It just shows theyre not after balance, theyre after race change token sales.

    If you think Adrenaline Rush was balanced your oblivious to game mechanics, its not like Red Guards were Maelbeth broken but they were defiantly over-performing.. or was the population of Red Guards in pvp not enough of a show case for you? This is a good quality of life change. Red Guards still hold the top spot for stamina sustain even with this cool-down tweak, cool your jets.

    Redguard - Adrenaline Rush: Internal cooldown increased from 3 to 5 seconds.

    Khajiit - Robust Constitution: Reverted to it's current live incarnation.

    Bosmer - Resist Affliction: Increased from 3% to 6% Max Stamina Bonus.

    I should have rolled a bosmer !

    You talk about a nerf? Let us better call it a balance change, because this is what this "nerf" is. You are doing something wrong if you can't see that Redguard is broken in PvP, period.

    This race makes it nearly impossible to balance Stamdk. If the class is balanced it will be op with Redguard. If Redguard Stamdk is balanced, the class would be underpowered on all other races.

    After all: Very good job ZOS!

    Stamdk is the best with Redguard. You get insane stamina regen by just stacking max Stamina and you don't have to care much about regen at all. It's fun to fight Stamdks who have 40k max Stamina and 5k weapondmg and don't have to give a *** about regen because of a broken game mechanic.

    I would have given Adrenaline Rush a flat value instead of a percentage of your max Stamina.

    8% crit is useless in PVP. So you mean only PVE then?

    Stealth bonuses and health regen mostly are useless in serious PVE content.

    The reversal of a pittance 7% stam on Khajiit was not needed when Redguard still gets 10% stam, 9% stam regen, AND the Adrenaline Rush regen with a slightly longer CD.

    I think you are just spreading flawed information or you haven't thought it through.

    I am not a fan of race bonuses in general. If they are going to continue buffing then re-nerfing I wish they would just remove them altogether and stop wasting my time or getting my hopes up for positive changes.

    8% healing with only a 3% magicka bonus is a nerf to Argonian tanks, not a buff to healers.

    Take 7% from Khajiit and give it to Bosmer?

    Nothing annoys people more than a flip-flop. Get their hopes up, then crush them.
