It's near double xp. Permenent cake for everyone. Make it purple though. It's well worth it. Just slot a level 10 set and grind normal maelstrom it'll last until you hit level 50.

Wait, I'm confused (still fairly new and on my first character I'm doing the quests to learn the game, but are you saying you don't have to upgrade your gear for 40 lvls when you're grinding?

+10% if you're Eso+
+50% scrolled/ambrosia'd up
You're getting 130% extra XP and that isn't even optimal.
I have 2 training sets, both willows path for the regeneration across the board and 2 whitestrakes for health
I have 2 heavy 2 light and 3 med
All my armour skills level up fast and my base level is crazy. It took me and a friend 6 hours from 1-50

Don't forget you can put it on weapons too for another 8%.

I for one am curious, if anyone happens to know, whether this produces a difference between dual-wield or not.
Say, 2 training daggers VS 1 training staff? Does only 1 weapon count, or can a dual-wielding player get more Training Exp added?

Single handed weapons yield half the bonus from the trait because of this.
A purple dagger would give 4%
A purple greatsword would give 8%
One thing zenimax do that brings balance.

Also if you level up provisioning and get max connisour passive then use psijic ambrosia, are eso+ and group up with 1 other person and ring of mara them. You could hit lv50 in a couple of hours
