Why are my Siege Engines unusable in Cyrodiil PvP?

Ok, so after sieging a wall my I decided to clear out one of the corner towers and set up siege on the wooden platforms. However, when I erected my siege engine Im unable to use it? Is this a bug?

✭✭✭More like you set it up somewhere you weren't supposed to be able to from the sounds of it, hence the inability to use it which would indeed make it a bug.Guildmaster of Power With Numbers in PS4 NA Server's Aldmeri Dominion.

✭✭✭✭✭Lag spikes cause this. The siege engine is removed from your inventory and visually placed in the world but the server does not give it an "interactable object" attribute(for a lack of better term) so it cannot be used. Happens more if you start moving between placing the siege and it actually appearing, so try to stand still until you are put in control of the siege(but its still no guarantee it will work during heavy lag).3
