Should I bother coming back? Looks like this company is still super amateur...

No issues for me on PC. I was even getting 30 fps in Cyrodiil for a few days :)

I was thinking of coming back with One Tamriel on its way. But holy smokes, seeing all this stuff about people literally not even being able to access their chars because they are stuck in zones that are completely bugged out is a huge red flag.

Has the company grown since their launch debacle? Or are they still as amateur as this current situation suggests?

No they have not improved, reductions in staff numbers I'm sure has not helped either.

Me too and except a few, the issues I experience are usually quickly fixed during weekly maintenance.

Congratulations, I'm glad you're happy with a subpar game.

I take you recognise there are a great many bugs in the game, I mean even ZOS acknowledges some of them!
Even though you are happy to put up with them, I hope you can understand why some are not so happy too.

I've been here since launch and some bugs remain! Plus many more are added every patch.
What do ZOS say about all the bugs and Issues with the game, erm very little and have done since launch. Communication is not something they like.

So it is ok to tell people they are greedy and have dumb ideas, but calling them amateur is a no-no?

I first of all I said bad ideas, not dumb, not all bad ideias are actually dumb. You can have a very smart ideas that are actually bad. There is a big difference pointing out reasons why the producer could be actually being greedy (which I don't really think is the, tho they still needs to make money, this is capilism after all) and even pointing out the wrong market choices made.

Creating a toxic post with blatant statement that "Looks like this company is still super amateur" is very childish and immature.

All I can say is, I'm very sorry for you guys, the game is actually good.

Nah, they are only bringing the price back to 60$ with the "Elder scrolls online Golden Bug Edition" ....Including the DLC no single player is interested in. It's cheaper to buy the old version, and after that, the DLC you need. as ESO+ membership.

But "bugs, bugs never change" in ZeniMax games. We only get more.

It's a nice single player game, though. If you play it for that purpose, the game is good. Otherwise, not so good, with the lags and the forced logouts during some loading screens..

Some of my real complaints are about some things, that infuriate me, because the responsible designer/developer must have been near braindead or very amateurish.. Like the provision writs or writs in general:

1 Provision writs: Would it hurt, to look into the recipe book of the char, to decide that provisions he/she is actually able to craft? Really ZoS? Nobody would even take an writ, if he is not able to create the goods in the first place. That's common sense, you know?

    2. Is it too much to ask giving out writs, that we are able to deliver in the region we actually KNOW with your choosen crafter? Is that SO complicated to deliver them to the town, you got the writ in? Do I need to explore the whole map, only to craft higher level items? Why ZOS? Because you bring these goods to a DELIVERY service, who should be capable on it's own to actually deliver the goods to their targets, without ME walking all over across the continent of Tamriel. And again, common sense.

    Was this ever betatested?

Sometimes I also think that this game is totally unbalanced, the publisher a greedy amateur cash-grabbing monster, and everything is terrible. In such times I like to go play Black Desert Online for a few hours and put everything back into perspective again by seeing true, unchained greed. This is just regular MMORPG greed.

I give the ZOS team a lot of flak. They made a great game, but they can be slow and unresponsive to serious issues. But, Cyrodiil aside, they generally do pretty decent work at getting things fixed and improved. The game has come a massive way since launch.

I feel bad for the people on Xbox and PlayStation right now. I know one of the bigger hurdles for ZOS to get it fixed is the console patch certification process. I imagine if they had a hotfix they could implement they'd try to get it on, but unfortunately, that's not the case for consoles.

I don't thing its" the savior " that your hoping for.

I have a small measure of hope that housing will include a strong ESO Plus perk, with Crown Store for those who are not. I would like to see them get back to a solid subscription focus.

I am not foolish enough to stand between them and a $1 bill, though.

I expect them to charge me for ESO "Plus" and then nickel and dime me for housing.

The forums make it sound alot worse than it is. Yeah its not perfect but it is most definitely playable.
If you want to play it then play it without checking the forums and you will find yourself playing a great game.

Honestly OP from what I hear things are "OK" on PC but not great but I can't confirm that as I play(ed) on PS4. But my time spent there was a bug ridden mess and cannot in good faith recommend this game to anyone at the moment. My most recent attempt to download the patch left it at "preparing to update 10%" for over an hour. If you're looking for a quality mmo and one where developers actually care about their fan base check out FFXIV (OR ANYTHING ELSE FOR THAT MATTER).

A friendly game of monopoly in a blizzard is still "playable" but you won't see me huddled around a piece of cardboard waiting to pass go in a white out. A game should be more than playable especially when people pay for it.
