Can you imagine the logistical nightmare of that for an online mmo on multiple servers? OYE!
Besides, don't we already gets lots of add-ons?
I would guess that it might be difficult for someone outside the actual developer pool to do it.

Yes I understand the problem
But for PC players it seem to work out perfect,
So I thought it might be possible to have a player created platform to download certain addons, just like you will be able to download certain player created mods for skyrim on console

Ummmm this game has 1 server that's why they call it a mega server. It wouldn't be that hard as you think especially since all consoles are pretty much even specs.Addons wouldn't really be difficult to implement. This would be something Sony and Ms would have to allow.Which mean asking them.Only reason this will work is because of MS relationship with Bestheda is the only reason I think they will allow it with this game. Also PS4 is having trouble with getting mods so it might not work for them.If ZOs can't do it for both they won't do it at all.Can you imagine the logistical nightmare of that for an online mmo on multiple servers? Why do you believe that?Smasherx74 wrote: »Certain addons like Master Merchant I'd imagine would have difficulties with the hardware.

Isn't that kind of a false equivalency?
Fallout 4 and the upcoming SRRm are both single player, offline games. Of course it is immeasurably easier to open mods up for them.
ESO is an online MMO with many, many thousands of players and multiple servers. Customization would be next to impossible without it being a global thing.

Hey there,
The title is pretty self explainatory,
I am not a game creator / coder / programmer at all so if this is completely weird let me know.
But if skyrim will have mod-support (to some extent only I believe) you think it will be possible to have small addons for eso? (for cosole obv)
Things like skyshard/lorebook map addons and buff tracker would be very awesome
Ohhh thanks for that did not know that seems pretty cool. Are their any of your addons that you think could work out well on consoles? Why do you believe that?Smasherx74 wrote: »Certain addons like Master Merchant I'd imagine would have difficulties with the hardware.
Because that addon creates a database of all guild store activities you view and it can grow to many hundreds of megabytes which constantly sits in memory.
