Should I bother coming back? Looks like this company is still super amateur...

I was thinking of coming back with One Tamriel on its way. But holy smokes, seeing all this stuff about people literally not even being able to access their chars because they are stuck in zones that are completely bugged out is a huge red flag.

Has the company grown since their launch debacle? Or are they still as amateur as this current situation suggests?

It's riddiculouy broken with bugs and problems that should not exist on a proper functioning game. Those of us who are somehow addicted are stuck to deal with it.

I pve and pvp a lot, iv ran in to a few minor bugs for example people see me as Resurrection pending when i died on last boss of icp a few times.

Other then that iv not really encountered anything major.

Theres still lots of bugs, inbalanced, crashes, issues etc...

But zos be bringing out those 4k crown mounts instead.

Me too and except a few, the issues I experience are usually quickly fixed during weekly maintenance.

Short and simple, no. Unless you're one of the blind few who actually think lag and the endless list of bugs isn't a problem, then go ahead and bother coming back.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head. The company is very amateur and make some good changes and then turn around and make decisions that baffle anyone who tries to give them sound feedback.

Don't bother coming back. Those of us who are still here from when the game actually had potential are only here until something like CU comes out.

Wrothgar will have 3 times as many players trying to load in to the zone, creating more pressure on the servers and creating more potential for crashes

Lag will triple as a result

The quiet and out of the way towns people already use to escape lag and crashes will become laggy and prime spots for crashes

Load screens will become insanely long as three times as many people will have to be accounted for in popular locations

Grind spots will be come unplayable

Farming will become impossible as all aliances aill be farm the same spots and as a result the selling market will go beserk

Guild traders will be able to charge what they like for membership, "donations" will be extortion

Gold farmers will be everywhere and selling gold for feal life money even worse than they already do

It will be a complete nightmare

In the thieves guild quest line I got stuck in a barrel and couldn't get out. The mac has audio issues and now I'm having issues interacting with way shrines and traps. You can get stuck in walls and boulders using the blade of woe.

The game is majorly buggy. It's a paid beta.

Don't get me wrong it is a fun game and fantastic when it works but the number of issues is staggering. Meanwhile instead of fixing real issues they are focusing on lip syncing the models to the spoken dialog.

The game is great if you play on PC and don't PvP.

I remember my last bug encounter. It was before the release of the Thieves Guild DLC, fast switching settings on the character customisation would cause a fatal exception and the app would CTD. This was fixed.

Apart from that, I only have two issues.
1. The horrible lag; on a connection that has me at 270ms the lag pushes this up to 500+.
2. And the optimization issues that result in occasional performance degradation over time (100fps drops to 30fps). Luckily a client restart fixes that.

Despite the above though, I can still clock more hours in this game than is questionably healthy.

I am having, lags, very long loading screen(10 min), crashes, poor ZO$ communication, class imbalance, exploiters, hackers,and the list goes on.......

Dont get me wrong,
I like the developers.
People can only do so much with what they are given however.
There is one person handling item sets and class balance.
Class balance alone -- imo -- needs a team of at the very minimum 4 people who all have equal say.
There is one person doing that. RIP wroble's sanity.

Also id like to add. Instead of dealing with a broken ass base game they've made the decision of added more and more systems to break it even more. (thats where poisons come in)

So when youre done with the powerpoint slideshow that is cyro pvp and unbalanced gameplay you can at least go to your player house where youll probably get 20-30 frames on your 1000 dollar pc.

Just be sure to pick up youre eso gold edition with your 40 dollar re-skinned mount.

Nah, if you thought they were armatures before and still employee a subtle all be it intended insult at the Dev team best just to stay away and enjoy whichever game your prefer that professionals make.

console editions are riddled with bugs and unplayable at times a actually just switched back to pc after playing on console since launch but with every dlc it gets worse i couldnt take it any more but i love the game pc version plays just fine for me

As to answer your previous comment, you have to realize that people's experience greatly vary depending on their platform, or if they do only PVP/PVE, are casuals, in guilds etc.

People like you claim that the game is horrible to play for everyone and everytime but it's simply not true.

Thing is, many people come to the forums to whine, while many happy players just play so that contribute to give the false idea that everyone is experiencing an horrible game.
