Spear concept in game "already"? [Screenshots]

I've been to Auridon's Skywatch to do Litany of Blood and as I was wondering around I noticed these 2 NPCs training with spears. The way they wield the spears are similiar to lightning staff idle animation, but their attack moves differ. Certain things that aren't available to players yet are already in game for weeks or months prior to the actual update.
Just like when I saw the dwemer styled armor on one of the solo delves' boss in dwemer ruins, a few weeks later the motif was released in an update.

On a side note; I wasn't active on ESO or its forums for the past month so if this was mentioned and I'm just beating the dead horse again, apologies for that.

I noticed that as well. I don't know of it's actually new or I just didn't notice till now but there's a new mob that has a quiver of Spears on their back that they can chuck at you.

Seems like a new weapon skill might be a'brewin.

Exactly, forgot to add that I've also noticed it just a few hours ago and it could've been in the game for months or who knows, since the release.

Yep noticed this too. Note however that while some of the animations are okay, some are ripped from other weapon or skill lines. The heavy attack, for example, looks a lot like the 2H heavy attack, which doesn't make much sense for a piercing weapon. \shrug still hope they add it though.

The game serious lack new skill lines. The DB and TG are just complementary since they are very concerned about no turning the game to p2w. (Probably they would get a lot of hate if DB and TG, as DLCs, ended up getting skill lines like the Fights Guild and the Mages Guild. Its kinda sad, I wish their skill lines were useful for combat).

But hooray, perharps next year we'll get a whole pack of new races, classes and weapons.

I also noticed that some NPC have some kind of... backpack with mini-spears? xD I dunno how to call that, but they COULD make another stamina throwable skill line, or something...

Yes! Spear is a great way to get your Endurance stat up.

I hope this is the case, I would like to see quivers on the back of bow users, cloaks (toggle of course) and this spear weapon line.

Side Note.... fist weapons

I was actually discussing this very thing with a friend earlier today. These two guys could've been in the game since the release, training with spears, having nobody to notice them. Could've been 2 years and nothing happened, why should we be getting spears now if this was in the game since the start
