✭✭✭This game was not written up with choice in mind like previous TES versions. We can't go around killing any and every npc. There are also not choices to join a hero faction in favor over a villainous one. That's just the game it is. I realize its a bit on the rails, but that's just how its written up. I've actually wanted the option for BOTH. There are some players who are pro-villainy and it seems like they want to do things I can't even state on the forums without breaking TOS. I'm not sure I want hat, but I do wish the choices were clear, but they aren't. In truth Star Wars ToR proably does the whole good/evil choice thing a little better, and frankly that game has a very cartoony understanding of good/evil that comes from the cartoony strange morality of the Sith/Jedi. One thing I'll point out is that the TES 'hero' is generally more often than not a Greco-Roman styled hero, and not what we would say a Chivalrous Knight type of a hero. It comes simply from a different set of virtues extolled. I personally like the idea that we can align ourselves in a multitude of ways but frankly the choices don't matter for much so who cares? He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis0 -

As I pointed out earlier in the thread, daedra being playable is impossible without a total rewrite of nearly all of the quests and some completely new and daedra-exclusive quests as well. Too much work for what, a max of two races?0 -

Because it's not unique but the same material that's being used over and over again. It gets old after a while, especially having to listen to NPCs whine about how their business is getting ruined because a bunch of trolls/giants came in. Yeah I would like to have a character that is a psychopath, and isn't afraid to display it. I shouldn't have to become a thief or an assassin for the Dark Brotherhood to act out. I shouldn't have to join the fighters guild to intimidate NPCs into submission. Their should be a speech craft that I can invest in my skill points in to vocally abuse NPCs into submission through intimidation.
While I'm not a huge fan of Grand Theft Auto V's story... I give Rockstar huge credit for allowing me to act out as a psychopathical killer in a video game.
