Motif Drop Rate

I been farming for thieves motives. Wile i have kill the big minotaurus for over 10 times and witches too. I only gave receive 1 axe motive.

I join a group were one guy farm the minotaurus boss for 32 times yesterday and he got a motif on almost every kill, full set 2'times

Any reason why the drop rate is ***?
Or is have to do with the servers disconnecting players for no particular reason.

If you're farming for the Thieves Guild motif, you're doing it wrong. The bosses you describe drop Assassins League motifs, the Thieves Guild ones are a reward for completing heists within the timer (100% chance of getting a motif).

Regarding the Assassins motifs, the drop rate and/or the number of people farming them are high enough that they sell for under 10k each. If you have the gold, save yourself some RNG woes and buy them

I get Assassins League chapters on a regular basis. Drop rate as far as I'm concerned is pretty decent. You're probably in an RNG rut, OP.

You need to do x% amount of damage/healing otherwise you get no loot.
Also there is a mininum cd how often you can get loot between each kill.

Otherwise, you are just very unlucky.

Which you are. Sometimes it just happens. Then you'll get 3 pages in an hour and all the people you're hunting with will hate you. Such is life.

RNG = Random Number Generator. It governs the "luck" factor of the game.

rut = A term to describe a poor streak of something.

OP = A term used to address the forum user that made the thread.

That guy couldn't have gotten 2 full sets of the motif chapters. The Minotaur boss only drops 2 different chapters.

Pretty sure I've gotten more than 2 from it but I don't really keep track of which one drops what so can't say for sure. Between the 2 World Bosses and 2 Delve Bosses I've obtained most of the chapters and many of certain chapters over and over.
