'Based of player feedback', what a load of crock. Aussies constant give feedback about these horrible downtime and I don't see ZOS changed it based on feedback. Go suck a lemon, morons.

The maintenances are slow and harm a huge part of the playerbase.

I don't think that word means what you think it means.

*sigh* this kind of thread again

as a person who play from SEA, i feel ya, but seriously...what does couple of hours done harm to you?

you can do other things, like read books, play other games, or do other hobby of yours

its NA server anyway, they will prioritize 'murica than any other, timezon is a b*tch indeed

I took the liberty of fixing your post. Still, you go ahead and suggest a good time for maintenance and I'll show you a group of players who have their game time disrupted by it.
Even on the internet, clear communication is important; it can be the difference between "helping your Uncle Jack off a horse" and "helping your uncle jack off a horse"; the difference between "knowing your s***" and "knowing you're s***".

It's because it's 2pm in the afternoon in India. Happens every time they do a new content release.

We have been through it with @ZOS_GinaBruno and she got it changed back to after 10pm. But things are different since she went on leave.
This recent update has made me sad. Sad for the game. Sad for the community. Sad to pay whatever it is now. I want the previous eso back.

This is the time when most players are not on and probably easiest to shutdown the servers both technically and fairly. Just something that is going happen due the game being ran from the U.S. and even more so that the developers are east coast.
It sucks that it happens at that time for you guys but it is just the way it seemingly has to be.

Ahhh, but is it? Like I said, if ZOS gave us some data to show that, "yes this is when the least amount of people are on" then I'd shut up and go sit in my corner. But its not, it's based on "feedback" not data, its not based on a player poll, its based on the amount of bitching they get from a few *** in the forums that want to play at the crack of dawn. A bunch of players that are forum warriors and don't actually represent the player base....

Seriously, how many Americans are getting up before the sun to play this game? Sure cater to the majority, just don't cater to the complainers which they have done. If ZOS released a spreadsheet showing that this time slot was the most consistent time slot that they had the fewest players on, then I'd shut up and go sit in the corner. But, I know its not - they're just pleasing a few whiney kids.....

Seriously though, the company is east coast based. Not West Coast so it starts earlier.

What data is needed. I can tell you that as someone who keeps odd hours and logs at varying times. The lack of players running around faction hubs in that time frame is the eating of the pudding.

By the way the proof is in the pudding is in the eating.

Seriously though, Easy coast or West coast, anyone playing at these times needs to get a life. Go enjoy the sunshine and let Straylia enjoy its evening....

The engineers are in the US and work to US hours. It makes no difference where the server is physically located. Can we get over this and stop having a thread about it every week.
