European megaserver is separate from the North American one.

For the EU server they can do it middle of the night BST and what they do with the american server i dont care.
Yes i know they maintain both servers at the same time,
but that just plain stupid,if other MMORPG can do maintenance on different servers on different times then ZoS should also do this.0 -

Just go play something else for a few hours, read a book, take a shower, make something good for lunch, do some study, get a job, go for a run, play another game, read wikipedia, waste time on imgur, have a nap...

If you can't handle a few hours of a game being down once a week I worry.
Well my friend i just been around for shortly in the forums,
and also in the game.
And i have seen more stupid non-helpfull comments like the one you make then those posts.
Nobody tells me what to do with my time,
if i want to be anoyed by these stupid maintenance times then i will just do that.

I think that's exactly why they keep moving the maintenance times around. Unfortunately, shifting maintenance times doesn't make anyone happy, it just results in other folks being unhappy.I don't comment here often but when I do, I get [snip]0 -

You're welcome to be annoyed, but making yet another spam thread like the hundreds we have seen in the last two years opens you up to replies from people like myself who see it literally every maintenance.
I can't tell you what to do with your time and others (apart from ZOS) can't tell me what I can't post, and if I want to be annoyed by these stupid maintenance times threads I will do that.

European megaserver is separate from the North American one.
Belive me - there is no night time in the whole Europe at the moment - in the time when the European megaserver maintenance is being done.
Just a thought but is the server being remote administered by the people over on the East Coast United States. If so then you have your reason for the European maintenance being when it is.0 -

It's 6:30 where I live (CST) and it's day. It isn't in the middle of the night in the least. 1:30 CST to 5:30 CST is night.0 -

The last time they tried doing them separately, the PC-EU server crashed when they brought down the PC-NA and it took them a lot of effort and a second day of maintenance to get things working properly again. I am genually anoyed by these maintenance times,
you comment on them being a spam thread but apparently you dont mind spam-commenting them posts.
Instead of pointing them posters out that they are,maybe un-knowingly,being a part of a spam thread,
we could stand together and tell ZoS to do something about it,
if they see us discussing like some kindergarten kids then its not surprising they ignore these posts.

Minute_Waltz✭✭✭So can someone explain to me what benefit has it achieved by moving from 8am(or ill even give you 6am) EDT to 4am? As per other thread majority of eastern Aus players with a full time job won't be able to play the game at all, its not about a few hours, its about maintenance hit at the worst time and as a result we are unable to play the game in 48 hours time when we log off on the previous night, not even a chance to get in and grab pledges/writs.1 -

I have heard of this,
but i dont agree with it being a good choice to do maintenance on both servers at same time,
if other MMORPG can handle it why would ZoS not being able to do so,
then they should invest some of those easy-earned cash from the european players in better european hardware or american hardware,what ever works.0 -
