Is it cheating? I mean you're using an exploit for an advantage so wtf and now people are using that to take keeps in under 30 seconds.

✭✭My personal opinion: Depends on how you do it. If you have a friend on the different alliance who helps you get inside I would consider it cheating. If you get inside because the defenders stand in stupid positions and then don't manage it to kill you or knock you off the wall after you jumped them I would say it's fair gameplay.9 -

I'll admit to leap onto a ledge once or twice but to immediately jump off cause when you got 7 players spamming frags and siphon you tend to start button mashing.1 -

PeggymoeXD✭✭✭✭YesI say yes. But I do it. No logical reason. ZOS won't grow a pair and fix it, so why not do it.
But at the same time, it's easy to not stand on the edge/grate of a keep. At a certain point you can only blame yourself for being the target someone gap closed to. 90% of us know it's an issue that shows no sign of being fixed, so just be aware if you're going to continue to play the game.
Peggy Story Corner: Just yesterday a friend I regularly play Halo with mentioned he was getting ESO for PC. It's quite sad that there so many issues such as this one I can only hope he muscles through as a new player. It's hard to pitch a game to hesitant people when you're well aware of all the issues in it.Kitty DK

✭NoI think it's situational. If you do it and then take the keep, then it's wrong imo. But if you do it to kill Snipers or those nasty overloading sorcs on the grating(above main gate), I honestly think it's fine.
+ It adds a lot more complexity to sieging. Now the defenders need to worry about not standing too close to the edge etc.
I honestly like it. But not when it's used to take the keep

I think what he is referring to was a recent statement from Jessica. She said "Any method used to gain access to a keep without sieging the walls is an exploit." (Wish I knew precisely where it was, so I could link).

But I suppose if you go by the "unwritten rules of conduct", (lol, if such a thing exists) then I suppose utilizing an exploit could be considered "cheating". It probably should get fixed though, kinda defeats the purpose of walls.0 -

✭NoPersonally I love doing it and its very fun wish ZOS keep it in the game.Its very entertaining to gap closer on to a group of defenders right at the same time someone hits them with counter siege and DBOS Them at the same time for a wipe.Its best addition to the game.
