I really hope we get female costumes other than dresses and such

I'd like to see a sleek assassin suit for female characters only (.. or males to, its not like zos has stopped males from wearing wedding dresses :D ).

Somthing to note here which i really liked about this image, you can see her hair in the hoodie. Something we don't have in eso i believe.

I'd really like to see some new hat's in the form of a face mask for female or male characters (similar to the first and second image in the spoiler). This way we can still have are hairstyles but maintain that assassin look and feel. Not all assassin's wear hoodies.

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom Can you ask the costume team to create some face masks? I know you guys have been busy making hats and beards but i really think face masks would be a big hit! :)

They look awesome, and yeah I agree. We need some sexy but deadly-looking costumes imo... inb4 prudes bombard me with "This is ESO not Blade & Soul!!!!" lol

I mean, care to provide an example of what you would like? All costumes in ESO are unisex, so who can wear them isn't a deciding factor.

Hmmm.. even if you're not directing this at me, I just want to say that I think it would be better if an outfit changed due to gender. Say if I had an assassin-looking costume on my female char, it could show some skin, but as soon as I equip it on my male char, it would cover him. I don't know, I guess that would be too "awkward" to implement or something.

I don't have a specific style in mind but I think if it at least showed a bit of cleavage, it would be awesome. People may want to deny that and say "go and mod Skyrim" or something, but no, realistically, females have shown some cleavage for thousands of years, surely.

@Molag_Crow I have no qualms with some more skin-showing gear at a tasteful level( love morihaus) but am totally opposed to havig costumes have 'femme' versions when equipped by females and having the option missing on males.

I haven't really thought about it to be honest, just threw it out there in the moment. I can live with the "unisex costume" deal for sure, even if feminine outfits look ridiculous on males, like the dress on my male Altmer makes his torso SUPER huge lol

It's not much different on busty female characters either =\ A big reason I haven't bought a lot of costumes is because they flatten the chest and broaden the torso.

All of this. Far too many of the costumes distort your character's proper shape.

I mean just less dresses in general. Sure you can cross-dress, but for the 'feminine items' we are mostly getting dresses and such- I just want some variety in what they're putting in the crown store. It'd be nice to see some armor designed for female as well as dresses.

I have issues with female-oriented armor like the ones shown. They're obviously geared more towards male gamers cuz boobs and booty. I would like more that are better suited for female characters, like the Elven Hero costume. It has a little cleavage, but it isn't terrible.

Well sometimes we have to wear male armor so I suppose if you really want to wear the dress it can look like a dress on you too.

As for armor/costumes looking different depending on the gender, have you seen the tribal shaman outfit on the PTS right now? It looks differently depending on if you are putting it on a male or on a female.

And I really like it, I'm buying it when it hits live, whenever that happens. Several of my female character will probably be wearing it. I checked it out in the PTS and I'm sold.

No complains here.. ESO offers some nice appearance/costumes for females, especially, the Abah Landing styles of Sand-Kissed and Song of the Night ensembles and the Whisperwelf Gala. Female only.. please! What is disturbingly funny, however, is those cross-dressing guys. There were two guys running in Song of the Night and Whisperwelf in the gold coast. Then, they showed up at the fight with Knight Cdr Panthius. After the fight, I was just sitting around on my horse, then one of the hairy, beard and mustache, buffed-out Nords looking guy in the Whisperwelf, I think, began repeatedly running circles around me and all the while playing the flute. It was so hilarious.. but quite disturbing as well! Why me?! Lol!

Those are griefer types - they try to annoy others with their appearance and behavior - just ignore them as if they would not be there - they will get bored and leave. I tend to start fishing, when I encounter such an individual. Nothing is more frustrating to them, then to try hard to annoy me but be ignored and having to watch me fishing  and if they do not leave, then I start to filet my fish - and show them afterwards what rare fish I got and maybe a perfect roe - without to say something else to them - so that they feel how much they have wasted their time.

Based on the pictures you shared I'm a bit lost still. The one with the blouse (that's a blouse, right?) and pants makes sense, but the other two are just armor sets on female figures. And unfortunately the flowing half-cape and, err, hip-cape that make the second one neat aren't gonna happen in this engine :/

I'd consider myself a feminist (not a modern day one who thinks everything is bad but an actual one who helps women with independence and equality in work, school etc.) and I definitely would like to look sexy whilst kicking butt. As long as it's reasonably designed and my boobs won't fall out or have too much exposed skin.
