Yokuda/Hew's Bane Motif

I have my fingers cross that ZOS will add the Yokuda/Hew's Bane Motif as craftable in a later patch, the curved swords [Curved...swords] and the wings on the armor, I must have it, and yes I'm sure I can do the Trial and loot it but I want craftable! Anyone else agree?

The Yokudan Motif is in the game already (Way of Fire, Air, and Martial Knowledge) as well as a Yokudan style stone and motif exist in game files, found during datamining, it's just not obtainable at the moment.

They will add it eventually, probably with another Hammerfell based DLC.

What I'm hoping is they do what they did with Orsinium and with the Dark Brotherhood DLC they add the Motifs as lootable from Thieves Guild quests

And I know Yokuda is in game but I think its the "Ancient" Yokuda. The winged version is new, as are the curved swords

Since the Yokudans no longer exist - having become the redguards we know now a long time ago; all Yokudan is Ancient Yokudan. There is also a more ornate Yokudan motif called Aetherial, http://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/Aetherial+Style.

Hew's Bane is not Yokudan, it's just Hew's Bane.

That said, they'll add them as they see fit, likely the same way they did Malacath and Trinimac motifs, in the next DLC despite the fact that they should be somehow lootable now.

I haven't seen the Hew's bane style much though, is it a full motif?

Hews bane is what the guards wear, the yokuda I am talking about is what the enemies in Baharas gloom wear, the swords are slightly different and the enemies in bahara have the wings on the back

The Hew's Bane motif is also known as the Ra Gada motif - the Syvarra's Scales set uses it, and it is different from the Yokudan motif. The Ra Gada were the warrior force of Yokudans that first landed on Tamriel's west coast, so it is evident the styles would be similar.

However due to the addition of Thieves Guild motifs (which the other Hew's Bane set, Bahraha's Curse, uses) has been added in, one might wonder if ZOS is planning a Yokuda DLC . . .?

According to reports from the dataminers and those maintaining the motif master forum thread, Yokudan is coming and the style material will be ferrous salts. The motif thread has pictures.
