When new items are added ZOS tends to remove older items in the Crown Store. Usually there is fair warning before doing so.
Do you think those items should be reduced in price before disappearing, much like a Clearance Sale?

So I'd accidentally give less financial support through reluctance to buy, and be bitter about having paid full price. The prices would then most likely be inflated to cope with the sale at the end of its days as well as the crown store crowns sales. so items get less predictable in price in the future and people complain more because it inflates and get more bitter. See the cycle
Why they need to make room is a good question though and to support some cause is good too.
