Hi all, im thinking of rolling a new character that's not based upon magicka and therefor wanted to make a stamina build. I've pretty much decided between either a Templar and a Sorcerer but i'd love to hear your experiences on which would have the easier tiem to survive in pve and pvp but mostly pvp :)

I'm not sure about Stam Templar, but my Stam Sorc hits hard with combo of single target and AOE damage and crit surge healing along the way. A lot dodge rolling poison injection for crit heal. I'm making it work, level 34, I'm sustaining a good amount of time with cp501

I find my stam sorc alot easier to survive with due to the mobility and the buffed dark deal is very nice. My stamplar has access to major mending and a nice purge but I have to stay put. They both wear full medium though and I feel the stamplar would benefit alot more with heavy.

No love for health templar? 51k health, 20k stamina and 20k magicka, 2k magicka regen and 1k stam regen = survivability plus a little ... blaze?.

Stamina Sorcerer relies more on Mobility while Stamina Templar has pure survivability skills. Off the top of my head....

Stamina Sorcerer has Bolt Escape (1x-2x casts) and Hurticane for 10% movement speed. Dark Deal also restores Stamina and Health for Magicka and is a really nice skill. Negate Magic and Greater Storm Atronach are good Ults that can stall enemies.

Stamina Templar can use a purge abilty (Ritual of Retribution) for a cheap magicka cost that also provides you with a HoT, reveals NBs because it has an AoE DoT, and slows enemies. Your Rune Focus grants you 8% healing recieved and -8% damage taken. Repentance can give Stamina/Health from any dead body.... also nice passives.

Stamina Sorc has more to worry about when it comes to survivability, while a Stamina Templar can pretty much tank the damage coming its way if using the right skills.

Personally I love my Stam Sorc , but Stamina Templar all the way if you really want survivability.

I think stamina sorcerer is better at survivability in group battles and stamina templar is better is better at solo survivability. A sorc is never going to out heal a templar one on one, but in groups they can proc their surge heal more often and dark deal gives like 3 stamina bars. You can reset fights a lot quicker than other classes in group play.

I'm running snb dw with heavy on my stam sorc. She's a beast, stamina templars don't stand a chance. Shield stackers are my bane. They don't kill me either.

sorcs have insane mobility, mines and a decent ult.

stam sorcs speed is just too much and quite dumb while DK and Stamps are sitting ducks.

be like every cookie cutter build roll a stam blade or stam/mag sorc, tool it up in pvp with poison injec.
