Why are charged Maelstrom Weapons a drop?

I get the useless traits on some weapons, but this trait literally does not do anything for maelstrom weapons as they have a 100% proc rate. Why am I getting charged weapons? It makes no sense to put them in the loot table.

I agree. I enjoy the grind. I don't mind the RNG, but these weapons essentially have no trait. I think Zenimax overlooked it. I wouldn't complain about a defending weapon, even if it was not what I wanted.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't poison effectively disable the enchant on a weapon? Why in god's name would you ever run poisons on a maelstrom weapon?2 -

Galbrant✭✭Me personally I wouldn't know I haven't attempted the Arena yet and after reading these complaints. I'll stick with craftable gear for the time being. Sure I'll do less DPS but I couldn't care less I want to have fun and enjoy myself not to do the virtual equivalent of sweatshop work. I want Maelstrom Daggers/Axes. I've put in 100+ runs with tons of weekly rewards have have gotten exactly zero of them. My motivation for continuing Maelstrom Arena is at an all time low.
THAT will make me stop playing. Getting what I want means I can start running trials with far better DPS as well as Vet dungeons. Not sure how if I get what I want all of a sudden ESO is finished lol.0 -
