Will ZOS ever sell Maelstrom weapons?

I was just wondering if I can play the game in an enjoyable fashion or do I need to start grinding VMSA? It just gets so dull doing the same thing over and over again.

Back in the day I would be enraged by the idea, but honestly VMSA is so easy I don't even wear the Stormproof title anymore. It would be nice if they had a token system as someone has suggested in the past. Like each weapon costs 10 tokens and you get 1 token per completion, and 5 tokens per flawless. That way it's still being rewarded to the skillful, and talented players aren't getting screwed by RNG.

Sure they will. When MA is outdated do to new trials and no one runs it. At that point it will be at the PVP vendor.

No, but ZOS making it so you can trade dropped items with other group members. Oh wait, vMA is only single player and this game isn't considered an MMO to @ZOS_MattFiror but a Single player game catered to Skyrim casuals. For the Ebonheart Pact!

I don't think they should allow players to buy them, but let's not call vMSA "easy". LOL.

You know you got smacked many times before you learned the correct build, mechanics, and strategy for each stage. It may be easy to you now because you failed enough to learn what works best for you.

Both of these, including the future weapons made to alter the effects of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th abilities on weapon skill lines, should never be sold. We need to earn these.

Selling them for gold ... well, why even bother having the Maelstrom content in the first place if it is sold in-game??

whays the point in selling them? To pretend that you're a good player when you're definitely not a good player? The weapons really only matter to maxed out builds that have a solid rotation. Normal enchants now are pretty legit. The only reason I can see people wanting to buy the weapons is so they can be like 'oh look at me I'm such a good player now'.

Truth is, you'll still suck, and I still wont rezz you. The players that beat vmsa should be better rewarded. Let's just make it so nmsa drops vmsa weapons without the enchantment so scrublords can go around bragging about how good they are.

I spent so long in there on my *** connection dying from a teleporting ice giant, not stunning the spider with all totems dewebbed, not getting cleansed from green circle and not being able to go upstairs on the last boss and i got a maelstrom weapon from last chest. Just do it dont buy it

Done it many times on several characters. Only ever got 2 useable weapons a precise bow and precise resto, neither of which is a main weapon. Never got an inferno, 1h or 2h weapon, in any trait, not entirely convinced they exist tbh.
The content is boring, buggy, lonely and unrewarding and at this point i couldn't even care less if they sold them- so many people have paid other people to do runs for them to get rewards from boxes and leaderboard places that the weapons are not even a sign of a good player or even one that can complete the content. So yea sell them or just put a f*ckin token system in already!

They just need to add maelstrom weapons to the weekly trial loot table and not force people to play extremely boring and buggy solo content in an MMO.

yup, only rezz tanks. If I can solo the boss I'm not going to risk whiping or obviously get killed because you're a healer who wants to lurk in the back of the room or a scrubby dps spamming snipe and standing in red. If you're a solid player I'll probably rez. But if I have to solo firemaw/titan/skoria for you what makes you think I got time to rez you anyway?

stop whining, watch and learn the mechanics, and enjoy your free carry. Why so many people think others csn just stop and rezz people who die all the time. This is a huge pet peeve. Take first boss wgt for example, I can rezz you at the beginning of the fight but if you die halfway through picking you up will only get me killed anyway.

also, 9/10 it's always the frackin healer demanding rezzes. I ran coa yesterday, solod nearly every boss having to listen to the healer scream 'heal me, pick me up'. To make it worse,nI actually put guard on my bar to try and keep this moron alive. If you don't want to die PAY ATTENTION

while you're busy being dead I'm busy not noticing, because I'm paying attention to boss mechanics and adds while I cycle my rotation. If I could toggle it, your healthbar wouldn't be taking space on my screen in the first place. using dw/bow I recover 17-20k hps depending on weather or not my warhorn is active. I could care less if the healer died, at least they're not following me around spamming their crap 1k repentences while running away from the group. Literally the best moment in any dungeon for me is when the freakin healer dies.

Also, Your number 1 goal in this game, regardless of build/role/playstyle is the same. Not dying. You can't complete dungeons, trials, get good ap, or complete quests if you're dead. If you can't stay alive in 4man content where other people are doing the tanking/dpsing/healing for you why would you go maelstrom and suddenly expect to do all 3? Tbh, Iunless you're newer to the dungeon or a lower lvl player I got no pity to give. esp if you're a healer. you got ppl dpsing/tanking for you on a class that specializes in staying alive, if you can't manage to do that I mean really.

No matter what it is or how you do it just stop *** dying. Step 1, maelstrom is nowhere near 2nd.
