Does having over the impen cap make you take less damage then a non crit if critted? Like if you got it up to 5k?

✭Last I understood, what impen does is reduce the critical modifier. Maximum impen and cp redux roughly equates to a .51 reduction of the critical hit modifier (which is dmgx1.5).
