Do You Want An Update For console Before Incremental!

For those unaware on consoles the thaumatage champion point is not affecting channelled abilities. a Fix already in palce on PC. This and a multitude other fixes. This I personally find HIGHLY unacceptable.

here is the PC thread regarding thermautage on PC PTS it got this response
As a quick update, this is still being worked on and we haven't forgotten about it! It likely won't be fixed in next week's PTS incremental patch, but we do want to address it before Dark Brotherhood goes live.

Wanting to and doing so are entirely different things please fix this. Templars finally feel competitive across pvp pve etc
The fix is currently being tested, so we can't say with 100% certainty it will most definitely without a doubt be fixed. We want it fixed as much as you do, though, and are working on it. :)

any update on if this is going to get fixed?
In terms of functionality, it will be fixed by time this update goes live. We're still working on a few outstanding issues surrounding the tooltip, but the ability itself will be good to go.
meanwhile on console we have been 2 weeks waiting and not even an update.
It is not just this issue. It is every issue that was fixed on PC is left on consoles. if you look updates we appear to be at 2.4.5, and PC 2.4.9.

in update 2.4.6 nighblades could not ambush up keeps on PC.
Night-blade
Assassination
  • Teleport Strike: Fixed an issue where this ability and its morphs could be used to get on top of Keep walls.
in update 2.4.7 i can confirm the following list personally is not on console. Things i think pretty important
Maw of Lorkhaj Trial
Some item set pieces in Maw of Lorkhaj were incorrectly dropping as bind-on-equip instead of bind-on-pickup. Those items have been corrected and include the following sets:
  • Roar of Alkosh
  • Lunar Bastion
  • Moondancer
  • Twilight’s Remedy
General
  • Fixed an issue with the Grouping Tool that was resulting in groups of two players having longer queue times than expected.
Vampire
  • Dark Stalker: Fixed an issue where this passive ability was reducing the Movement Speed penalty of Crouch by 50% instead of 100%. This ability’s tooltip has also been updated to better describe its bonuses.
Alchemy
  • Fixed the Medicinal Use passive so it once again improves the duration of consumed potions.
  • Fixed an issue that was preventing the following potions from being usable while moving:
    • Potions of Stamina
Exploration & Itemization
Item Sets
  • Fixed an issue where the default enchantments on Alliance War weapons had higher values than intended.
  • Added the ability to toggle item locking from within the keyboard bank UI.

The only reason i can possible think for this is update 2.4.6 returns the price of a skill respec to original values. and we are meant to have XX days? of cheap respec. So now i make this Poll have your say. what do you want.

Just get on with it zos. This cannot be down to MS and Sony process if it was zos would actually post a patch date. Pretty sure we are just 2nd class humans on this game and they just don't care or know what they are doing.

    *SIGH*

You obviously haven't been reading the forums a lot lately.

On last friday's ESO live on Twitch, they stated that a patch to solve a lot of the issues on console is now in the works, and they have committed an entire team to it. As its too big to be hotfixed, it will require approval and testing from MS and Sony before going live. So, expect a patch in the next 2 or 3 weeks. This should solve the thaum problems, and it hopefully has gotten to the bottom of the memory leak issue causing the excessive loading screens and crashes.

Sorry but MS and Sony do not provide a date for when the testing and QA process is complete. They always state " 2-3 weeks" for patch approval. As ZOS are running this hot, they will release it on the tuesday/wednesday after receiving the approval from MS and Sony.

allthough moderately reassuring there is a fix on its way (despite the condescending "sigh"). Its pretty shocking the level of feed back that is coming via forums (not everyone watches the live).

a "entire team" does that mean we normally only get a few team members per problem...lets not open that can of worms

I've stopped playing ESO on console because of these awful bug's.

First, Vampirism sneak speed was changed to 50% from 100% (claimed a bug....).. i play a vampire and this really ruin's my stealth game-play.

Second, there are ton's of ability's (including sets) in the game that are currently breaking cloak even though they are DoT effect's, the worst of them being Volatile Armour (note activation does reveal nightblade's but the DoT from this ability is also revealing them permanently for the duration.), Vicecannon (DoT) and Scourge Harvester (Beam Proc). In addition to pretty much every gap closer breaking cloak also, playing a stealthy gank type nightblade is the worst it's ever been.

Third, everyone is jumping into keep's. The flow of cryodill is all messed up because of this. I'm surprised ESO wasn't taken down immediately to fix this.

O yeah, i almost forgot, there is a ton of Stamina Sorcorer's abusing the Implosion 100% proc rate bug as well. Which is also awful.

Overall, it really suck's being a console player when things get really bad. ZOS Please get an internal patch system like Digitial Extremes has with Warframe.

Specific to Thaum, The tool tips should be updated if strikes are to benefit from it. It doesn't read as DOT so even tho Wrobel says it should, they need to change it so his statement is evident within the game. This can be a yes or a no depending upon ZOS' decission to change the tool tips.

    Regarding other updates....
-Crashing on consoles is a priority and understanding that ZOS has more and more issues per update, it may be time to drastically change the console from PC.

--other issues like ESO Plus for Xbox one...this is another priority but it's not on the radar to be addressed

In the end, the console version could use a complete overhaul and it may result in drastic gameplay differences from PC. Having not experienced a good ZOS plan and process for resolutions of any kind, it's more than likely that things will get worse with the next update so many of us will find ourselves playing other titles for a while as it seems the next update will not address many priority items or large concerns based on forum discussions.
