I completed normal Maelstrom the other day and just wondering if it's worth learning the vet version seeing as how we get crapping ping in Australia.

    Not Aussie, but it's definitely worth to learn vet version as it drops best weapons.

    It's worth trying for sure... I've had three best in slot characters get to the last boss and fail for about 20 hours.

    You'll die a lot. Half from skill errors, half from lag and ping.

    I would love to learn the mechanics on the vet version to some day get some maelstrom weapons, just wanting to know if the bad ping is going to make it extremely more difficult that it already is....

    Ok thanks, i'll give it a go for sure, at least I can come back to it if i rage quit haha

    It's do-able for sure. Some days are better than others. Just makes it more rewarding when you finish!

    Try to do it between 3-5am CET, the server is quiet then and your ping is less likely to be affected by server strain.

    Good luck! As everyone says it's all about getting to know the mechanics, it defs gets easier over time. On the plus side it also makes you a better player.

    Yes this is another reason I want to learn it, I need to level up my playstyle
