Race change and passive skill points?

I wonder how this will work?
For example, if you rid yourself of vampire you have to get all your skill points back first, or they stay in the lost vampire tree becoming effectively lost to you.
So if we switch races, will the skill points simply transfer into the new race tree, or will they be locked away in the old race tree?
Has anyone tested this on the Test Server?

Get those points from your racial back to you
The level of your current race level translates to the new one. If you're at 50, it will be 50 on your new race.0
