Why increase frost and shock damage when most dark elves are only going to be using flame anyway? And can someone tell me the value of reducing lava damage by 50%? Does it at least apply to skills like lava whip, or just lava on the ground?

    Because zos have been watching me fall in lava on my mount and die before I can even get up as we dunmer are quite leisurely at getting up most of the time. Plus don't complain it's a pure buff for dunmer.

    It's the flavor passive like Argonian swim speed or Bosmer fall damage reduction, it's just there for fun. Although I assume it will be useful in some fights (Valkyn Skoria).

    Argonian and Bosmer passives are actually quite useful.

    Lava damage reduction is just funny xD

    Well I heard with this update they're also adding a lot more lava. But seriously I'd rather see something else. I do like the additional damage with lightning and ice. Dunmers were always good with destruction magic, not just fire. They were only resistant to fire though.

    How couldn't you be thrilled by a straight up buff, of an already strong race? That frost and shock extra dmge is quite good for force pulse spammers, will probably out dps altmers now.

    I think it is neat and characterful as the additional Passives have been. As someone has stated too, it's a pure buff as nothing was taken away either.

    I'm all for the characterful Passives (even as an Orc who already has all his crafting skills maxed)!

    What about Khajiit and Bosmer? Between them and Altmer I'm gonna say Aldmeri Dominion got the goods this time... Even if that xp gain is only 1% lol

    ? You should be glad dunmer even got a little extra something. They are arguably the best magDPS even without this little extra treat.

    This is a good change, quit complaining.

    I thought for sure they'd get nerfed based on historical moves by ZoS. They didn't so I'm not saying one bad thing about them.

    Everyone knows that dk's (cough dunmers) were under performing and needed a buff /s
    Now when being in whip range is not possible they can Force Pulse spam like the best of them (cough Altmer)

    Necromancer was the cut class that could wield frost magic, not Warden :)

    Many dark elves use force pulse which does damage with all three elements. That is why the change.

    They are going to be selling "Lava Lamps" in the crown store and with there faulty programming, it is probable that it will hurt you somehow, so they gave you this passive.
