https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XliMhBhOLPc Well, Skyrim remastered - i am not fond of that - it will nót be able to run SKSE for long and maybe never SkyUI and all the mods, which rely on SkyUI and SKSE - why would I change from my very well working "old" highly modded Skyrim to a version, where I do not even like the graphics I have seen - suddenly a nordic country has a "sunny" yellowish brown tint?- Are you kidding me? That does not look anything like scandinavia, the old Skyrim got the lighting right, the new one doesn't.

Which is pretty typical of Bethesda. They were extremely close-mouthed in the years-long lead-up to Skyrim. Then, BAM, the year it was set to come out, they finally started revealing all the juicy details. That's just want Bethesda does... they like to make sure they have something solid to show off before they start talking about it. No promised release dates means they can take their time to make sure it's a quality experience, no matter how long it takes.
So let us content ourselves with ESO while we wait. That's more than we had to occupy us between the other TES games!

Going off that statement, 2020 is impossible and anything before 2025 is severely optimistic, IMO.
Frankly, I think ES6 will arrive on platforms that are either still immature, like VR or something beyond that.
What was lost in all of this is that Fallout4 is, effectively, the last Fallout game from Howard's team.

Hm, your last statement, on what is that based?

Not to be argumentative or anything, but isn't it sort of a meme that Elder Scrolls games come out with bugs anyway? Even with all this careful planning and time their games (only from reputation, I have never played one) have this stigma of being buggy...
Just a weird observation I'm making I guess, nothing more, nothing less.

This. The color scheme in the new Skyrim made my eyes bleed.

On the fact that Howard's team has two full-size, new IPs forthcoming AND an eventual ES6. Seeing as those 3 games take Howard and his team well into the next decade and nearing 60/retirement, I'd say it's a fair assumption that he's done with Fallout. Of course, this doesn't preclude Bethesda from handing off the series to another dev team.
