Can ZoS create an option to download the PTS to your HDD vice the SSD?

I know that, a while back, people were complaining that they had ESO downloaded on their SSD- but when they tried to download the PTS to their SSD, they were getting error codes about limited disk space. That means that you have to download the PTS to your HDD... but there's really no quick option for that. My question is this: Is it possible to put a button on the launcher screen that gives people the option to download the PTS to SSD or HDD?

PS: Sorry for all the acronyms. And if you know the @zos name of a technician or programmer that might be able to do this- please feel free to include them in your reply!
Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

    I'll attempt to translate...

For people that run SSDs (Solid-State Drives) as the main hard drive in their PCs, they often have a secondary higher-capacity HDD (Hard-Disk Drive) as well, since SSDs tend to have smaller capacities.

Since the PTS needs a whole separate installation of ESO from the main game, the OP is simply asking if there's a way to install the PTS on a secondary drive, if the main game is on the primary drive.

I don't actually know the answer to this, because my primary drive (which is an SSD) is plenty large enough to have both installed on it.

Get a bigger SSD = the answer.

Solid State Drive, Hard Disc Drive

Typically SSD has less space, HDD has more space, the SSD is faster but the HDD has more storage and is cheaper per gb.

The main difference here is the speed, SSD is lighting fast, HDD is slower than two bugs racing in amber.

This has been proposed many times, I just don't have any interest in it as I have unlimited Internet and no reason to store things like eso on my ssd.

I'm with OP. I'm not upgrading my SSD just so I can play on the PTS for a few hours every couple of months. I just won't participate in the PTS. If I could install it to my HDD without too much effort I would gladly do some testing for big patches however.
