How viable is Trapping Webs?

I was just wondering - I know Stamina DK's are valued so much because they bring talons, but for non-DK tanks how viable is Trapping Webs or any of the morphs for an AOE CC in it's place? I know it can't completely compare because one is a root while the other is a snare but I've never seen anyone use this move before.

✭Not great...it has a really small circle and you need allies to activate its synergy for the damage to be worthwhile. It is instant damage and its delayed so theoretically it could be used to increase burst potential but trying to get enemies to stand in it is just awful.
