With this weeks maintenance I am wondering if there is any plans to fix Thaumaturge not scaling Puncturing Sweeps on Xbox One.

Anybody care to make my day with a YES?

Well I've levelled 3 alts from Level 3 to Champion since DB Launch and done just 2 runs so the bug has helped in a way in distracting me from force feeding myself maelstrom daily trying to beat 512k and Flawless although the latter will never happen again with guaranteed kicks every run now but I digress...

    You're right :/

I'm pretty sure there's gonna be a patch. They probably just couldn't squeeze it in. Would be shocking if they took the servers down to do nothing but restart them.

As stated on ESO Live Friday, that patches on consoles take longer because of the certification process they have to go through... not only that, but they are currently trying to verify the fixes they created will actually work. Let's also not forget, it took them an extra year to even get the console versions to work, so clearly there are a lot more intricacies that go into the console version than PC.

Certification for what I'll never know. Who ever approved theives guild and then dark brotherhood should be fired hands down. This garbage should have never ever passed through any type of qa test at zos and then at Xbox live. These people aren't doing their jobs.

Well you have to ask Microsoft that - they are control freaks, so guess why?- they want to have control over what gets access to their platforms and what is rejected. A simple look at the "free offer" for windows 10 upgrades shows how much of control freaks they are. What they built into this version is beyond what can be accepted IMO.

I thought that it was self evident that ZOS skips this step.

well let me translate it for you, what that actually means "the guy, who works on it, said he is practically done with it, but we have not seen the fix yet. If there will be enough time, we will try to verify it. Not that we would know how, but we'll try something, but it will take time, because we have to invent the test methods first"

simply because if they would have proven test methods and a proper QA scheme, they could say exactly how long it will take - my guess is, the whole process of QA is a total mess, if it exists at all.

Ridiculous that ZOS doesn't care about fixing an unintentional nerf to a whole class.

I suspect that certification is not that the game play correctly but that there is no hidden malware.

What's your point? The point of this thread is to voice disappointment over the fact that it's not patch maintenance, which leaves console versions of the game virtually unplayable. You can't do anything of substance because you will crash every 5 minutes or so.
