When gear level is increased next year

I think itll be waaaay different in the future.

One Tamriel by default should make it easier to get mats as long as it's not 100+ but I'm all for upgrading too for a much lesser cost limited to the crafter

Probably not in December as the vet ranks were just removed so they need to let the current changes settle, get more people up to 160CP first.

Upgrading should have a high cost since u dont need to recraft it and do the upgrade stuff again.

I think around 1k iron(leather or silk) per item for example should be fair, because u save your tempers and kuta glyphs

Call me opportunistic, but I've already started stockpiling gold tempers. I plan to make a fortune when the cap on gear level is raised, and everyone has to craft new sets. I'm really looking forward to it.

I cringe at this as the ruby tier crap craft cost is insane. If it was stil reasonable like every tier below then fine. I'd rather see the material cost smaller and the mats rarer than need 700+ to make a belt.. in future updates

1-50 can.. Granted you alr have a pre-existing v16 toon which means you already have 160 CP. Took me about 8 hours to get a fresh toon to 50. Alr have 576 CP so he was good to go in that time. Think it will take a lot longer for someone who just started out ESO though to get to 160.

Well regardless if it's a day to 50 and 6 months for cp cap, if they make things too quick to achievea, ZOS is going to have to pick up the pace in terms of adding new content.

Since I'll never be at the top of the leader boards, I don't really let the gear race bother me.

In reality I only worry about getting my main outfitted with the best.

As for the rest of my characters...really no need to bother.

Once you have a certain amount of cp's, most of the game is not very hard anyway.

I don't look forward to gathering hundreds of materials for new gear, but there's a silver lining: hopefully the new materials will be in a better colour so we do not have to suffer red shiny weapons anymore.

In fact... took me 2 months to gather materials for my crafted V16 things, but the moment a new tier comes out I'll be doing all I can to replace my weapons ASAP.

I'd say that the current CP160 stuff will drop down to being 1 more mat compared to CP150, CP170 one more on top of CP160 and CP180 being 10x CP170. Getting level-capped gear should take effort.
