Is puncturing sweeps still considered a dot in this patch? Does it still benefit from the thaumaturge?

    I notice from your signature that you are on the XBox. Whilst Puncturing Sweeps is supposed to scale off Thaumaturge, it has been acknowledged by ZOS that it is in fact currently broken/bugged on the Xbox, so it isn't scaling, and is awaiting a patch.

    Is a dot. Is supposed to scale off Thamaturge. Currently doesn't on console. Look for a thread named "Templars not scaling correctly on console." T minus 30 minutes before you get folks in here arguing about it, but per wrobel, it is a dot based on the way TESO works.

    So the real question....

    ....should I spend 3000 gold respeccing out of Thaumaturge and then 3000 gold to respec back into Thaumaturge, or just wait for the fix to arrive...?

    I would at least wait until we see the patch notes for this week's upcoming maintenance.

    I followed two threads and have not seen any confirmations from ZOS.
    Was this on ESO Live and I missed it Friday?

    @NewBlacksmurf it's fixed on PC and the timeline of when Consoles get incrementals suggests it will be in the upcoming incremental for consoles. It's not confirmed anywhere hence my direction to wait for the patch notes before making a decision.

    Id pay to fix it right now man. Sharpened weapons, 100 into elemental and 67 into elfborn. Once they fix thaum you could split that elemental and thaum to double dip without as diminished returns.

    I do not have faith in ZOS. It will take far too long for them to fix it. Chances are I will either avoid my newly leveled Stamplar or respec. Idk right now.

    There shouldn't be any patch notes for console this week because it is just "maintenance" not "patch maintenance". Pretty disappointed about this myself..

    Even worse, this bug was acknowledged by ZoS during PC PTS testing and promised to be fixed by live patch. They dropped the ball.

    They had plenty of time to fix the console version since this was discovered on the PTS prior to going Live, and they already had the fix.

    It was just complete negligence and incompetence that allowed a known bug like this to go Live on consoles. It also thoroughly proves the case that consoles need their own PTS for Beta testing along with those of us on PC's.
