Hello everyone! Could I have some advice? (Build)

Hey! How are you? I’m great! I’ve just ordered myself a copy of the game for the PS4 and I can’t wait to play it! :)

I thought I’d just make a post to say hello, look for friends and to ask for some advice! Feel free to post your PSN usernames below!

For the game, I’m planning on ONLY doing the PvE content as I’m not much of a PvP fan. I’m going to be questing and leveling by myself and just overall treating it like I did with the other Elder Scrolls games. I know it’s going to be a much difference experience, but nonetheless I’m still excited! :)

Advice wise, I hope you don’t mind clearing a few things up for me as I’ve got a lot to learn about the game.

1) I’m planning on playing this build over time: http://esoacademy.com/green-warrior-stamina-templar/. Do you think it’ll work these days for solo leveling? It sounds like it fits me perfectly. Nord, Templar, Medium Armour, Two Handed Great Sword and a Bow once I reach level 15 for the quick swap.

2) As you can see what I’d like to play above, which crafting skills should I level, or is it best to just buy my gear from merchants and/ or wait for random drops while leveling?

Thanks for reading, have a great morning, afternoon or evening! :)

Go for it, stamina templar is great for solo PvE / leveling.

I'm a crafting nerd, so I might be biased, but learn them all. If you can stomach making a couple alts it will be considerably easier, but all the crafting lines are quite useful. Just remember to start researching equipment traits ASAP!

@wayfarerx Thanks a lot for your help, it's greatly appreciated! :)

Considering that build was made months ago, do you think it'll still be okay today (for PvE)?

Yeah you should be fine. For the most part, once you figure out how to block and dodge, the PvE leveling content in this game is not all that difficult. Maybe if you managed to find the absolute worst build in the world you would have trouble, but a medium armor stamplar will melt anything in overland PvE so you shouldn't have an issue.

EDIT: also, the build you linked looks like a pretty standard stamplar build. Jabs, jabs, jabs, repentance, rinse and repeat. The only thing I would change is putting all points into health. That's really not going to do much for you while leveling, you would be much better served putting the majority into stamina and repsecing later if you want to be a tank in dungeons or PvP.
