PvP is very hard to incorporate into a PvE game, because it always breaks classes, trying to create "balance".

If you feel that an MMORPG should have PvP, then you should be playing an (MMO)FPS, a genre at it's core designed for PvP.

@CokeVoAYCE, I just read a post via the guild recruitment (PS4 NA) by a Sver True Blood, craglorn trader guild or something. You should check that out. Seems the group does a lot of PvP and seems to be a big and experienced group. I may send a request sometime later. Be nice to be part of the winning team.

I know for a fact that when I get to PvP I'm going to get slaughtered, I also know for a fact that I'll probably never be anything above average at PvP, but I will still give it a go.
I think the thing that will make me lol will be that when I finish the main storyline, and be hailed as the savior of the world, I will walk out onto the PvP battlefield and be one-shot.

    I lold.

"These" people learned how to play and found their personal play style fit best.
And they are able to accept the fact that they die in PvP while players like you don't.

It's easy to say all others are elitists. Everyone can work and learn to improve his skills.

Some of us play this game since beta, I call it routine and of course a new player has no chance.
Therefor we have campaigns without champion points, go practice , catch up and then come back end of story.

And please get rid of Coke in ESO we skooma.

Seem liks this is a proper troll thread.

But I'll write this anyway in case someone new and eager to learn stumbles in here.

It's taken me playing on and off since release to become decent with my stamina Nightblade.
First couple of weeks, heck even months I was hardly a match for anyone. But now I can pull my own weight, I know what skills to use for cleansing negative effects and healing myself and my allies.
Resource management is probably the biggest problem people have when PvPing, that and learning when to and when not to block and/or roll.

ESO has always allowed players to "bend the rules" more than other MMOs. From no cooldowns to removing soft caps, adding champion points, animation cancelling... there are a lot of ways for players to really push their character's limits.

That being said, there's a sub 50 campaign, there's a no-CP 50 campaign, and there are now resource draining poisons to combat infinite resources. To me that says there are good sandboxes for people to play in until they get acclimated, and if they really struggle against a specific type of character there are options.

Definitely not the most unforgiving PvP system I've played.
Something being unbalanced in 1v1 does not imply that it is balanced in group play.

Unlike the PvE world, Zenimax can not make the content face-roll easy because its the actual players you are going up against. Although they keep trying with stuff like high damage siege, bombard spam, nerfing dodge, block, etc., at the end of the day, ZoS can't dictate the level of difficulty in Cyordiil like they can in Wrothgar.
Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

I wish I could play 24/7 just to get the costume. I also wish there was an alternative to getting it but I know that wont happen.

While I am not a fan of the low time to kill meta, you also cant expect to compete with players who are legendary gear and 501cps. Thats how MMOs work, I mean those who worked hard to get gear and grind CPs should have some power over new players. Play in the no CP campaign first until you learn.

Dear lor, I have nearly 600 cp..... lots of gold and yes my gear is legendary. Guess what? I LOVE pvp. I am completely hopeless at it and die a lot, run back and die again. I think my kill to die ration is 2 kills/1 death. lol....... mostly you just have to learn to die gracefully. But I guess I learn as I go and one day I might get better, faster, brighter. Or not. Nothing delights me as much as getting a cold fire ballista from a dolman... I have absolutely no ambition to rise high in the ranks and become emperor ... as if!!!

Hmm I might do a bit better if I was not such an altoholic. Some folks have played one class one race since beta and I certainly have not.

you know I did a bit of pvp in the beginning of my playing ESO. I attained Rapid Maneuver, but then I played lot of pve and long time no pvp. then again i did now some pvp+pve in Imperial City in a 5 people group and it was very funny. i died a lot of times because of zergs or skilled pvpers, but more times we even killed some players, usually those who were a bit left behind, few gap closers, ultis, wrecking blows and executioners and gone...

it is clearly a LearnToPlay issue, no offence, I experienced that too:)

In pvp you need to find what fits you the most, fotm builds are ok to start, but then even the fotm need to be tailored around your playstile.

I found myself confortable with full damage, cuz if i do a lot of pressure i dont need to defend or run away, but it took me 1year to learn how to manage a glass cannon in pvp and I've died a lot.

I know that PvP is very fun but what's there in PvE????
Its the same boring dungeons that I go just to get undaunted passive and also the quest are some time very predictable and boring. So, what do you guys do in PvE ?
(Not to mention PvP is also boring, like go the fort and that or kill the same enemies again and again like the ZO$ logo but at least its unpredictable)

ESOL is a game. You play it because it is fun. Well, that's why I play it. When it isn't fun any more - I will go and play another game.
It's a game folks not a life career decision, not a commitment forever... a video game.

One reason I like ESO, a huge major reason, is that skill ultimately trumps gear. Sure, better gear helps, but if you gather the materials and study a bit (so many videos out there) you can make your own top tier gear. Crafting matters in this game.

Once you have decent gear and a reasonable build, you just need to practice and get better. There will always be better pvpers out there. They will be faster (younger most likely) and have more time dedicated to pvp. Some people have leveled their characters entirely by pvp. You can't beat them if you don't have the skills from practice.

Whenever I lose in pvp, I know why. I see my mistakes and I see what the other person did that gave them the win. I don't mind this. I love this. I understand why the other person bested me. I have a rewarding and satisfying life outside of ESO, so if I don't have that many hours in the day to be the best in pvp, that's okay. I know if I spend the time I do play with some concentration and an open mind, I will get better than I am now. I love that about ESO.

I don't mind losing to a 1vX guy. Good for him. He's having fun. He practiced and worked hard to get where he is and I can learn something from the experience. I do hate getting zerged down. But that's also an issue of getting better by learning how to avoid the zergs.

Completely untrue. There are class builds that can take damage for 4-5 players and survive and still deal good damage. Stam right now is way over tuned. The passive dodge is out of control. Skill has nothing to do with winning in this game currently.
