Is there any chance we can get the ability to convert disguises into costumes?

I'd love it as an ESO perk, or even a Crown Store purchase.

Actually, just convert the disquises into costumes and add them to the Crown Store. Obviously, the first priority should be the Iron Wheel Servant's disguise <_< >_>

Which (now that I've actually done a bit of research), looks very much like the Abah's Watch style. I just dislike the top tier shoulders. Or any shoulders.

Maybe I should just be asking for the ability to hide shoulders...

*** well, guess I'll be running Thieves Guild and checking guild vendors for the motif.

I wouldn't have any issues if this was a Crown Store thing...I'm specifically after one disguise, and just want to be able to dye it. And maybe not lose the bloody thing if I happen to aggro a mob in an area that utilizes disguises.

Will flag this as answered - but only to stop the stupid nag notification.

Or make a costume version part of the quest reward for the associated quests.

Or make it so you have to take the disguise to a tailor to make it into a costume for a large amount of gold.

    Or Crown Store, whatever.

Either way: yes, this should be a thing. Shame of all the cool stuff that's in vanilla and the DLC zones that we only get to wear for 10 minutes each of our total play time.

An ingame Option on disguises called
"convert to Costume" Is also an Option.

You Click on it, it tells you the Price. Now you confirm The purchase again And its added to your Collection.

Thats how I Would implement it^^

I think this would be a good way to do it. It doesn't seem to be too hard either, since the models already exist and there are quests that give costumes as rewards already.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

Just compared the motif to the disguise....now I really do want a "convert disguise to costume" option.

Would ZOS like more money? Does the bear do the proverbial in the woods?

We've been asking for something like this ages, and the UI icons are already in place. It can't be that far away now, and costumes as quest rewards is the most logical way to do it.

That's definitely the costume that needs doing first, but it really needs to be available via non-store means, too.
Even on the internet, clear communication is important; it can be the difference between "helping your Uncle Jack off a horse" and "helping your uncle jack off a horse"; the difference between "knowing your s***" and "knowing you're s***".

No Crown Store, please. That'd just be a kick in the nuts, we earned the disguises ingame and shouldn't have to pay extra just to give them full functionality.

I would love this, and seeing as this is the most recent thread covering the topic, here is where I shall declare my love :D

Seriously though, with all the other pieces already falling into place (costume functionality, costume dyeing), this does seem like the inevitable destination - would be great to get a heads up that it's being worked on.
