Also is ESO+ worth having if I plan on being here for the long term...with how things are going I can definitely see me staying put and the bonuses look nice for having it.

Here are some tips: start your research now and stay on it, trading guilds are a great way to make gold, activity finder scaled you to 160 champion points so you'll need Grand soul gems.

Thanks everyone,I'll get on to researching stuff,once I know a specific trait for a weapon can I dismantle any duplicate ones then or am I better to sell them for coins??...also took the plunge and got myself a ESO+ sub...especially as I can now try the DLCs and the crowns will come in handy too

Hello and welcome! ESO Plus does have some significant advantages, but honestly there is still the entire original game you can experience without it, so whether you purchase it or not, there is still a lot to enjoy.

Also at the minute I'm just putting my points into stamina and I've put afew in health...should I put some into magic too??can I change this allocation at a later date as well as the points I've put into move sets??

Brilliant thanks for that was worried that I may be stuck with certain moves or skill allocations later on

Hello and welcome Antony!!! Enjoy your stay here!!! Normally for me, I dismantled everything until I reached lv 50 in each crafting, after that I dismantle only the green, blue, purple, gold weapons/armour and sell the rest. You might also want to invest some skill points in crafting passives to be able to receive better resins etc!

Even if you deconstruct your armor, you can still make a lot of coins. Try joining a guild, so that later on you can sell your materials in the guild store for a decent price (any kind of materials =D look at the guild store and check the prices, then sell anything you have extra or pick up on the road and dont need, alchemy reagents for example such as bugloss etc)!

Dont be afraid of stealing either, it is another great way of making some gold! Please dont buy armor from npcs, it was my first mistake ;____; I didnt start crafting until I was lv 20 and wasted quite a bit of gold with that...

Also at first you dont need super powerful armor (unless you pvp) so there is no need in wasting tannins in making anything of green quality etc. (unless you also try Maelstrom Arena, dont go there unprepared ;____;)

You might also want to focus on cooking and fishing a bit, it sure helps you once you are a higher level and can get you Psijic Ambrosia, very useful as it boosts up your xp. Buying bank space can be expensive at the beginning, but its good you got yourself a subscription because you have a crafting bag.

All in all, enjoy your stay here, you will notice after a few levels all the crafting etc will feel natural to you! Also try to ignore the forums for the most part, we have some fights here and there and because we are humans, we forget to see another point of view, so dont let that inflict with the overall gaming community! Also dont be afraid to ask for help, many people are quite helpful in game!

Devines is the armor trait that boosts the effect of mundos stones
its a very useful trait, especially for PVE and convenient as you can change your mundos stones at any time to optimize yourself for whatever it is you are about to do.
