✭✭✭✭If PvP is not fun for you, then don't do it. There are lots of other entertainment options in this game and elsewhere.
I couldn't say where I fall on the bell curve but it's definitely not on the shallow elite end. And I have fun pvping. Every time I get my ass handed to me by a better player (of which there are many), I usually learn something. Slowly I am getting better, and sometimes I get to be on the end of handing asses out.
Tip: If you troll in zone chat, you are not very likely to get picked up by a group when you ask for one.2 -

I will tell you a secret that others are afraid to tell new players about it and how they become OP.
Its called "TS" (Team speak) also some exploits like shuffle,etc and some workable cheats.

Well its not that elitist, just the dueling areas where they are 1v1ing are "elitist" since most of those players are running full gold gear and max cp. Then brag about winning a novice or a player without gear or cp lol.__________________________

mike_de✭✭✭If you are into PvP, you have to do that at he beginning of a game, In the time, all chances are equal.
If you try it know, you get your ass handed on a silver plate by people who do nothing else, or have skilled an geared up to the max.
If you don't have a strong determination or are a sucker for punishment, you have no chance a newcomer to succeed in this.
Seen over a long time period, that means PvP will die slowly in a game like this, because old players will leave, but new players will not come to play against the remaining elite players, who make fun of people without "proper" gear.
The other option is, to play PvP only in he strongest faction. That will unbalance the whole system. But it is the only way for newbies in PvP to succeed against the elitist. In zergs.

I'm terrible at PvP, die frequently, yet have fun doing it. Does this mean I'm doing it wrong? Enquiring minds that aren't part of the sub-set "tippy top tip top min maxers" want to know.

My advice buddy is to find yourself a group and then fall into a support role. I'm "winning" quite a few fights now since I just spam Flare and Radiant Destruction while my group keeps the enemy player(s) busy.

Pvp is where Animation cancel shine the most and a pve build simply don't work there.
If you think we are elitist just post your set up here and we will prove that we can also help "noobs" to compete, simply because you need good enemies to have fun in Cyrodiil.

✭You would probably be surprised at how many of these so called elitists are cheaters seen the difference when the cheat engine came to light it was night and day and the cheaters really suck the fun out of pvp.
