Still no trial group finder?

How can ZOS release updated trial content and still not have group finder for trials? Many of us play on consoles, have a different work or play schedule than our friends, or are anti-social by nature. ZOS trials for group finder should be on the top 3 priorities. @ZOS_MattFiror

My guess is it may happen once they have all the trials worked and scaled. The normal versions would work fine with GF though expect long wait times and getting groups that would be challenged to clear the normal versions. The vet versions should not be in GF.

You want to PUG a trial?? I've never done a trial, but that sounds like a nightmare!

    Edit: Had to L2Spell

The normal modes are so easy... they can be pugged, even if your whole group plays roleplay builds and runs around with bows spamming snipe out of sneak.

I have a hard time believing you're not exaggerating there. If you're not than the best players would be able to solo them.

No it's true. You should see some of the normal so farm groups....holy.

I'm a noob with group trial/dungeons, but I was able to get into 2 normal group dungeons yesterday by using the activity finder (via PS4), if this is the same as a group finder. However, I couldn't get in anymore for the rest of the evening. I'm not sure if it's a hit or miss or if there was no other group dungeons needing another player.

Trial PUGs would be an absolute nightmare and will lead into so many ridiculous nerfs until it's a WoW's 'Looking For Raid' lol

I agree with that "looking for raid" concept though.

I used to play wow and I used to raid as well with my guild, did mythic and all that stuff. But I had a friend whose working timetable did not allow him to raid with a guild and looking for raid was the only way for him to experience all the content.

I am pretty new in this game and I have not done any trial (and it does not look i will do any in a near future, because I don't really have any friend that plays this game). It is a pity because I would love to be able to experience all the content... and if there was a group finder it would be great for me.

    Just my opinion  cheers

You act like the new Sanct trial is difficult or something lol.

I got a random group jnvite for veteran OS the other night. Had never entered it before, group of 7 people, easiest content I've played so far. Great fun

Really hope they make Group finder for trials .
Many people do not have the time to be online every day and be active in a guild to do trials.

But they need to set up some requirements to join a trial.
Like you must be lvl 50 for normal
And for vet, some level Cp. maybe 300+
You must have done a numbers of dungeons.
    etc.

that's goig to be really hard considering A pug group probably wont complete most of these trials in even a generous time span. getting into a guild and learning them IS the fastest way. maybe text chat will change a few things.

I've done vet so in barely over an hout for a hm run, but I'vr also seen a group of competent players spend 5-6hrs in there. pug groups are NOT compotent, and t=there are 2 big concerns.

clmmunication. text chat will help but you cant do this in combat. sometimes you need to kick people who refuse to mind the mechanics and listen, with vote2kick this just wont work. then compressing a bunch of random, impatiemt, and often rude people ito a stressful situation makes matters worse.

even for esperiemced groups there's a limit to how many mew players you can bring into a group. I've been called to help out trading guilds with timescore runs for hrc and aa and even some of those I wind up leaving almost immediately.

tldr: maybe a finder for normal trials would work well, but leave vet trials out of it, bad idea, the forums will be FLOODED with QQ threads.

True its faster if you are in a guild and have the time.
    But not all have that.
And yah it will be hard for a pug's and take loooong time.
But that is not a good reason way to exclude them if they really like to try :)

News for you doomsayers... it will be just like any other pug. You'll have good and bad either way.

Some people will actually know the mechanics, yet can't get 11 others together. Get a couple of ppl like that together and you may actually have a successful run.

Then you have the other side of the coin, where nobody knows anything and it's a pure disaster.

That's the risk you run with any pug and people using them usually know this.
I want to change the world. I'm just to lazy to do it.

We usually 4 man nSO first boss for the loot. Pretty sure, I can solo it on my pet sorc.

Imo, the only thing stopping the good players from soloing it is the mechanics requiring more than one person.

I pray to Sithis that, if trial group finder is ever a thing, the veteran version will be locked. Not even a possibility.

I'm one to run normal trials a lot, lead some, as tank or DD, and the difference between raid members is absolutely massive. You still have CP 400+ tanks who don't have a taunt, DDs running with 13k HP, maxed out dudes who don't know what dodge rolls / blocking are.

Manually creating raid helps mitigate the "hey I'm new here have 150 CPs what do I do?" issue. I absolutely don't mind having lower CP members, but there's only that much you can do when half your raid doesn't even use food, keep crashing (since trials are heavy on CPU / GPU), run a grand maximum of 10k DPS, try to kill the Mage's axes, tank the Warrior with DW and light armor (legit happened, I swear) and whatsnot.

Funnily enough, the bug where scaling trials to level 45 got you cp160 gear has encouraged and hyped trials a lot. I honestly think trials are in a good spot right now, and trials happening often enough to make a Trial group finder unecessary.

Mother of SIthis, I don't want to imagine MoL with a random group...
