Kicked out of character creation

This is the third time I've been kicked out of character creation for inactivity and have had to recreate my character. I like to get things just the way I want them and this takes a bit of time. I also have trouble finding a name due to a majority of the ones I wanted being taken so additional time is required to find one that isn't.

PLEASE MAKE CHARACTER CREATION UNLIMITED TIME!!! I can't stand having to do a character multiple times to get it erased.

Yeah, I've definitely gotten kicked out at the name screen after slaving away perfecting a look. Feel your pain there.

I've been bitten by this a few times.

Now I make a list of potential names before I get to that portion.

One thing that always catches me off guard in EVE is never getting kicked for being idle.

How about a save like some games have so we can bring back the same parameters and tweak them if we want.

It happens if you take too long to come up with a name. At least, that's where it has happened to me ( a couple of times). It's annoying if you spent a lot of time creating the look. But as nine9six says, just have your name ready ahead of time and you're good to go.

happend 3x times to me ,its no fun when you perfect your character with small details to make it feel just right only to get kicked . I hope they lissen this time

Yup, I've actually been typing in a name and been kicked(was like "im moving the cursor! NOT idle!) But yeah, happens.

How long are you sitting idle? If it takes you that long to create a character where it will time out then just fiddle with the menu.

Never idle always doing something so it's pretty annoying

I have yet to hit that... but I go for excessively complicated lore-friendly names so maybe it's less of a thing.

So do I! I was very surprised when a khajiit name of Ra'zura Daro was taken. Thought it was unique

When it comes to names, dont try ones that would be normal to us. Just come up with imaginary names by throwing sounds together. Like Poldun, Kolvakna, Trisen, Luk'Varn. ect. I can promise you none of those are taken.

I have been trying to create a second char but I always get kicked out before I can complete it properly. So what you saying is that if I type in a name first I can have all the time I need to create my char? In BDO it would take me 1h or so to create a new char.
