The issue is not all of us want impen, nor is it better for our builds, and we have much more AP than we have gold.Who's runs with whatever traits is irrelevant. My question simply was why is the PvP monster set vendor selling certain traits exclusively for 90k gold with no alternative option to purchase the same trait with AP. The point was to give PvP'rs something to spend AP on by having this vendor in the first place.
Dude just buy impen with AP. It's better anyway... I don't see the issue.

You're right. It is very selfish of you to make such a big deal about this kind of thing.Cinnamon_Spider wrote: »The issue is not all of us want impen, nor is it better for our builds, and we have much more AP than we have gold.Who's runs with whatever traits is irrelevant. So then do the pledges or farm the dungeons. Impen is the PvP trait, so it's in the vendor. You're a very small minority in not wanting it, and it's honestly selfish to make a big deal about it now that we finally got it in the vendor.

I'm not the one demanding anything. You make post after post making demands like an entitled little boy. I only pointed at that you are wrong that everyone wants what you're demanding of them.Cinnamon_Spider wrote: »You're right. That's a response a woman or a politician would give.
The fact is that the Undaunted vendor currently gives what the majority of players need most. If you want BiS gear for fringe or cheese builds, go farm it. Don't demand that ZoS changes the vendor to appease you and shaft the rest of us.

And again, I will point out that I never demanded any changes and only said that one particular trait should not be best over all others. In that lies an issue that should be addressed. You in fact make the claim that no one can play without full impen. If that is true, then damage and impen both should be modified.Cinnamon_Spider wrote: »I'm not the one demanding anything. The majority supports impen gear in the Undaunted vendor. The majority wasn't satisfied with Mephala shoulders this past weekend, especially considering how impen was removed from the Undaunted chests and boss drops.
Some of my demands from other posts, including making the Undaunted vendor purchases impen, are being implemented.
Most if not all of my others are supported by the community.
And if no one speaks up, nothing will change.
Stop coming into my posts whining that your niche play style or minority opinions deserve special treatment. Impen is the ideal trait in PvP except for stealth cheese gankers and sorcs that stack magicka. To suggest that the Undaunted vendor should be altered to accommodate those play styles is ridiculous when the vendor already hardly accommodates 90% of PvPers as is. We need constructive changes, like adding impen back to the chest and helm drop loot tables before we worry about stealth cheese gankers and your Overload-from-behind-the-group spec.
Besides, you can sell ~300k AP for the 90k gold or so that it would take for you to buy the infused gear pieces. That's far from a bad trade. Be grateful that the infused is still offered at all.

I didn't say that everyone needs full impen. But your analysis of why impen is superior was also incorrect. See above for the correct analysis. Also chiiiiiill.
Well their was a thread about this when people found out normal SO was dropping Purple BOE gear, they got upset and asked for the gear to only be BOP.They claimed if the gear became BOE their be no point in running the content anymore. So I doubt many of them would agree with this.I remember when the game launched and they spoke about how they wanted to break down the walls between PvE and PvP, seems the longer the game goes on the divide has only got bigger.
BoP set proliferation, sets with specific game type bonuses, drops tailored to one type.
All of the issues around traits and RNG could be solved just by making sets BoE so everyone can trade for what they want.

I thought the point of running content was to have fun or to push leaderboads and show you're the best. I guess I have been playing it wrong for the last years.
If the only purpose of a piece of content is to inject BoP gear into the game, it's bad content. Of course this is my opinion and I am sure some would disagree, but in my mind content should be something you do for fun not for rewards to... do what with?
Hey @ZOS_DaryaK can you pass this to @Wrobel or @ZOS_BrianWheeler and see if they can enlighten us on why impen was removed from the loot table.
Adding the useless traits to the loot tables was a huge slap in the face. Removing impen just makes me think they want us all to quit.Hey @ZOS_DaryaK can you pass this to @Wrobel or @ZOS_BrianWheeler and see if they can enlighten us on why impen was removed from the loot table.
Isn't the answer obvious?
To make room for prosperous and training traits!
The devs know you want them so bad on end game gear....
