For Magicka classes, make dodge roll magicka based.

A simple solution to the QQ of stamina dodge roll specs, is to simply give magicka specs dodge roll based off their magicka. This will end the QQ once and for all. @ZOS_BrianWheeler @Wrobel @ZOS_MattFiror

    What in the world is a magicka class? Every class can spec to Magicka or Stam...how do you propose ESO determines when to use the Magicka pool for roll dodging? Based on how many attribute points they assign to Magicka? What about people that put all their points into Health and use food/glyphs/sets to boost their preferred stat?

    I don't think it's that "simple".

    I actually support this. Hear me out!

    Black Desert Online (while I hate that cash grab with a passion and hope it burns in 1000 layers of Oblivion), had a cool way of doing this. They made magic-based classes have a teleport dodge instead ofa roll.

    Many games actually do this, and it works better for balancing.

    So, I would say that IF they gave magicka classes some sort of cool looking teleport-ish animation unique to their class (magicka Sorcerer looks like a mini-streak, magicka NB looks like reddish vapor, etc.), then I would be totally in favor.

    Otherwise meh.

    Teleport in would be cool as long as it had increasing cost like dodge roll and stam builds got some decent wards that don't screw over tanks. would also need to make sure you could tell which way the person was going, like a trail of energy or such.

    Combat and Abilities: roll dodging is now called 'evasive maneuver', and will use magicka or stamina, whichever is higher on your character. In addition, all passives, abilities, and champion points effecting "roll dodge" will now affect evasive maneuvers.

    Dodge should actually be a short teleport slide for characters specced in magicka.

    Well, I guess if they are spec'd for magicka dodge, I guess they could use some kind of energy barrier that would convert blocking to a magicka drain to compensate.
