Second Wave of Cheating?

Hey guy's and Gals's

Be one the look out for a second wave of bull crap...

Just found 3 players to with ungodly amount of regen and DMG out put tonight... all while they were un-touchible with Ligh/ Heavy attacks and DOT's and mages cruses..... and a few ultamates..

by un-touchible I mean each attack requardless of type would miss.. every time..

Recorded most of it .. and sent it in.. watched these guys for an hour.....

they might get a 3 day bann... and then *POOF* back in game..

Has anyone else been find more peeps that were just way out there in a lot of questionable stuff?

I love the "don't judge them because they dodge or get missed on 90%+ of attacks they might just be good" argument conjured in this thread.

Why not go with "leave my buddies alone"?

Thing about it all is that most of us that pvp regularly have a feel for when people are susceptible to attacks post dodge rolls. When you time it out and they still dodge everything or you just get "miss" it becomes evident what it is, and it's not "skill".

Seen less of it since cheatgate... which is good. But you still see it.

Just send it in and be done with it, you will just attract a wave of defenders on the forums.

I submit a lot of video . They seem to get followed by a thread 3 days later of someone asking why they got banned . Coincidence ? Maybe . I don't share the videos with anyone but ZOS and I don't discuss them with anyone after . So if you have a video , I recommend doing the same . Bans are still happening .

Careful not to promote witch hunting, please. Remind players to report questionable behavior so that ZOS can investigate, but also remind them to remain open minded. Just because a player fights well, is durable, and does damage does not mean that they are cheating.

Their high damage could be a result of their build, or flaws in their opponents' builds. High regen is easy to achieve with the CP system no matter what they build, especially if they are a stamina Redguard. And dodging attacks is a frequent occurrence with passive and active dodge in the game, plus high healing and CP mitigations can make a hit look like it missed when it actually did not.

Would it be against forum rules to post your recording if you blacked out all of the names?

I think you miss read my post... dodge un Dodgeville abilities and such is a clear warning sign that something is amiss .

Plus having super high regeneration plus 1 shot ting everyone around them...

Call me paranoid but something is not right..

Yes after the CE came to light those in god mode started to die like the average player, now I see them back in god mode, the difference is night and day, we have seen what it is like when they turned off the CE and now it is hard to hide it.

As far as I know if it doesn't name and shame and doesn't promote cheating/exploits/hatred it's not against the rules

Sadly I think no matter what ZOS say and how many years pass this game will never be clear of the fact everyone is cheating now when doing well. It's the culture we have nurtured here that what we don't understand is abuse and hax.

OP if you feel someone is cheating submit a report and hope that if something is going on ZOS do something about it, there isn't anything else at all you can do sadly.

Sorcs can't output high damage and regen without the ChumpEngine build now? Didn't read that in the patch notes.

Or maybe the new patch dropped like a day later, and everyone had to spend some time getting used to the new patch and maybe new characters that were max level, and now they're just playing well again?

This has become just like the steroid era in baseball, especially since ZOS shows a lack of will to permaban cheaters. You are now guilty unless you can prove your innocense. Basically anyone who became emperor, or is at the top of any leader board from the last 6 months or so, cheated to get there. End of story.....
This is why I see no reason to PvP anymore. (... and yet ZOS still doesn't seem to understand the damage that was done.

Thing is, that in baseball, people that never tested positive for anything have been held out of the hall of fame.

Mark Mcquire used something legal and they hold it against him. But with those popeye forearms... While I don't agree, those popeye forearms are still hard to ignore.

Look at Mike Piaza. Greatest offensive catcher in the history of baseball... got held back first year in when he was a no brainer. Never tested positive for anything, never was linked to anything.

There are a lot of guys that are being judged based on performance alone... without proof of wrong doing.

Thing is... a lot of them had these unexplained performance seasons. Like out of nowhere 40+ homer seasons in succession. My take is on it is that ultimately, a lot of them or most of them or nearly all of them weren't legit.

I had some guy do incapacitating strike on me twice last night, and later I tried to attack someone else who looked to be in his group and my concealed weapon only hit for 300 damage... I have 3k spell damage and 41k max magicka on that character. Concealed weapon is almost my hardest hitting ability on that character.

Seems odd to me, might be just a great build though... who knows. Unfortunately this is the kind of thing that cheat engine has brought up, no longer do you think someone has this really unique/great build. You almost think "Is he using CE still or is he legit?" It's sad.

Invariably when you look into things, you will note that most of them are all in the same guilds. The bulk of them specifically in certain dueling guilds that the fervent defenders of cheaters on the forums all belong to.

What I find really odd. Is the in between the fights with the questionable players we faught against Haxus.. good group of skilled players...and my small little band held our own against them..and then died due to out of resources.

Call me crazy but if 3 people can out play a good 10 man/gal Haxus team...somethings not right.

Why not promote witch hunting? Salt is the gold medal of PvP. Let the witch hunts roll!

but I am sure cheating goes on in PvP. the best one can do is report it and hope ZOS does something about it. Don't let them make you angry and ruin your fun in the game.

With pot and continous attack i get to 4k stam regen with fully buffed dmg with enchant proc over 3k. Its enough to get some speculation going.
So probably most of acusations of cheating in pvp are false. However I'm sure it is happening and best solution is to report with video proof. Anything else is just pure speculation.

Now on the topic of suspicious behavior I did run 2 days ago on magicka nb that could dodge roll almost as much as I could (check stats above). It was extremely laggy atm so idk what to say
