Really? Because I spent an hour grinding zombies in Alik'r and only got 3 gylphs, it's not working for me. On top of that they don't give many IP when deconst, even being higher levels than my skill.

✭So the changes to enchanting make it easier to get to enchanting 50. That's fair enough, I did it the hard way twice, but it's better for new players.
But the level 160 potency runes cost a disproportionate amount from the vendors and the drop rates are terrible. I did 3 enchanting surveys in wrothgar in the past 2 days and got not one potency rune. That's 18 double gathering nodes and not one potency rune, level 160 or otherwise.
It's the same when I go gathering. Never get any potency runes.
It was claimed you would get them in a third of nodes, I'd say it's less than 10% in my experience. Even those have been 150 level.
Am I just unlucky, or is this a new stealth gold sink?
From purely running max level content you should get a lot of Truly Superb glyphs that you can decon for the potencies. I've gotten about 15 of them just over the past week running wgt, prison, sanctum or maw, as well as the daily pledges.0 -

I do the same thing and never have a shortage of potency as a result.0 -
