So what am i missing in the dark brotherhood?

Since The latest dlc announcement looks like its got some new dungeons, i cannot help but wonder what I'm missing in the dark brotherhood dlc?

Anything?

the next dlc looks like its gonna be worth the money this time. new content as well as buffed trials, and some fun character stuff like new hair and renames as well as race changes.

why has this taken so long? are ZOS still milking the cash cows all they can or what?

NOTHING no new dungeons, delves which you can 2 shot mobs and a few sneaking qsts which is ok if you like that sort of thing.

Dark Brotherhood was added to fill a hole in the overall TES lore, as they are a significant feature - it added a new zone, two cities, a new ability to one hit kill NPC's (the blade of Woe), and a bunch of quests surrounding the Dark Brotherhood themselves.

It also added 3 new craftable styles to the game, and thats pretty much the gist of it.

oh, and it made Imperial City districts capturable by individual factions.

the next dlc is 2 dungeons, that's just it.

The new haircut and all those cosmetic stuff and the scaled DSA etc (which should have already been that way) is in the base patch.

Oh the Dark Brotherhood is so much fun.

We get to wear the black clothes and we sit around holding candles and talking about horror plays we have watched.

Then sometimes we go on killing sprees together - this is like a picnic only the wasps do not fight over your ale and also someone dies.

They gave khajiit this really sharp letter opener and taught khajiit to do terrible things with it. Now you know why this one always wears red ...

Rarely do I get a under-100 stolen item from a killed npc. The chance for a blue item is much higher.

Yes, you're missing out in getting attacked by 8-10 invisible enemies during your search for the Black Dragon in the 16th mission. Lol! What the heck was that all about?! I was getting whacked left and right and I couldn't see anybody. Thank goodness for my healing potions and ability. What a fight that was when they all finally showed themselves. Was that supposed to happen that way or was a bad glitch?!

Other than that, it's quite fun, and with satisfying stealth kills. Thumbs up from an Assassin Creed fan..

If you REALLY don't care about single player content then don't buy Dark Brotherhood. I liked it, and think it helped flesh out some missing aspects of the game, but if that isn't for you, don't buy it.

And that is the entire point. They don't necessarily INTEND for everyone to buy every DLC. You say this DLC was terrible, but what solo player in their right mind would buy the argonian dungeon pack? No one. In much the same way, why would a pvp/group content focused player buy Dark Brotherhood? Theoretically no one, or very few.

So, while YOU may think this DLC was terrible, someone else might think it was the best one yet. And while you might think the dungeon packing the best one to come out in a long time, someone else might think it is a total waste of money.

Tl;dr, don't expect every dlc to cater to your playstyle. That was never the intention, and if you don't think you will like it, don't buy it.
